And I feel ya, I know where you're coming from and I'm not arguin w/ ya or tryin to talk shit on PNC; they are an extremely valuable resource to people who don't have the ability to get seeds or top shelf genetics. I'd for sure give them a shot but I would build a separate room just to watch it for a week to make sure there isn't PM/mites.

status, I was in the reef aquarium hobby for a long time and thats the first thing I would look for as a customer. If a store has shitty looking corals, I didn't buy shit. I didn't go to PNC back in the day before so I can't really speak of those times. I have been there now and I must say its not as bad as people make it out to be...then again I only have the PNC now perspective. I guess if I had connections I could get the real deal cuts lol. Take it easy guys!

i know i will get it, but i would not have put the effort forth for a false cut.
yeah i know this. this isn't a bash ape post. ape was made aware, or rather we discussed it on the phone after the fact and he among others here stated they believe it ain't the cut, though he now has it....
i talk to Ape about cloning and strains and what not, on at least an every few day basis, he knows my feelings and i'm sure will make it more than right, IF i asked, but i haven't......i'm just venting about his employee giving a cut that is a cross or s1 (likely a cross) out as verified true real deal spicolifield....... and i'm not even that peeved about it, just put effort into things i would otherwise not have.

Every "clone only" came from seed!
aside from convenience and market trends your better off really getting to know what you grow and throw some seed. It's an easy to way to avoid pests, maintain vigor and score some unique genetics.

well i thought the citrus smell i smelled coming from the AWxC99 beans was grapefruit, but it's not grapefruit at all..... it was/is tangerine! i wouldn't have thought to pay that much attention to it , but mountain said something about sub sayin' it was tangerine, so i checked today and yup. sure enough, tangerine full on. so i'm gonna call it tang.
