Hi,

A couple of days ago I started noticing the top of my plant getting wilted & leaves growing slowly while the rest of the plant looks fine. Now the tips are becoming brown & wilting even more and there are light green spots across some of the top leaves as well.
I thought of a Boron deficiency but as I am not sure at all I would like your opinion.
And now for the music:

Thanks a lot!

That PH is low for a soil grow. 6.5 is a good PH to shoot for. To attack the problem like a deficiency/over abundance of nutes will cause more problems as you will only be adding to the problem.

brian: i actually made a mistake: im more around 6-6.5 than 5.5-6, sorry. However thx for the table I'll keep it and make sure I'm in the right span.
black: thx i'll have a look
mtf: well actually they did get pretty close but i moved the light since. I thought about it because of the leaves being so brown in such a short time but I didn't know heat could actually make those light green patches. Now that I think of it the only plant that has the problem is the one right under the lamp which makes sense...

thx a lot everybody, feels good to be able rely on the community :)

Too much phosphorus is probably to blame. Plants surprisingly don't need alot of p to grow or bloom. Unless the soil mix is deficient of p, more p will not increase flowering. Never the less, growers pile the p on. P builds up in your soil with repeated applications. This leads to deficiencies of the micros like zinc and copper. Suggested solution: use a fert with no p maybe every third fert. In this case, stop using pk 13/14.

Copper deficiency is most common in summer. I wonder if the tops being closer to the light and warmer brought the cu def symptoms on. :chin:

I wonder if you really care about helping people or just feeding a ego that has been bruised over the last few months? Blackvelvet/sproutco, do you have any idea how rare a copper def in ganja is?

:jerkit: I know. I have spent 4 hours thinking about this. I was getting sick of magnesium def. I think the plant tops getting warmer by the light brought the copper def out that existed anyway.

I have seen this exact same thing in my plants before. (Yes, velvet has grown more mj than you I bet) It will burn the leaf right behind the tip but the tip stays green. Eventually, the entire end of the leaf withers.

I forgot to mention :jerkit: The cu def symptoms may come and go. The plant might recover without help and then cu def comes back. Sometimes you end up with flags (not fags) which are dead leaves on an otherwise healthy looking plant.

:yoinks: :yoinks: BULLSHIT!!! You have never grown a ganja plant! Stop this insanity right fucking NOW! I know that a TRUE ganja grower would never spout off the kind of stupid suggestions that you do around here. GIVE IT UP! :bat: :dueling:

If its light burn, why would the top of the plant be wilting? :chin: Just for fun , anybody that can explain why copper deficiency causes plant tops to wilt gets positive rep. (yes, i have the answer...)
