Outdoor in trashcan

I have seen this before but can not find a thread on it now. I want to put a pot in a trashcan so it can receive direct sunlight for a couple hours a day, but no one can see it until they are standing right over it. What experience has anyone had with this and is LSTing enough to keep it from outgrowing the can and becoming visible or will I have to prune. I guess I could just force flower but I am just shooting in the dark here. If anyone has pics that would be great! Let me know whats good I know someone always has the knowledge and experience on this forum for whatever I can think up to do its been done.

NOKUY had a thread about this once. I think he scrogged a plant in a trash can on his deck. I can't remember the title, but it was a couple years or so ago. Good luck!

in a trash can MUST reduce the light yr plant gets ... unless it's a big sativa which grows feet out the top ... which in turn negates the reason you put it in the can in the first place.

better put it in the garden and surround it with tomato plants.

cheers!

I've grown light dep style in a trashcan with heavy lst. It works well, except the heat and humidity. I put the cover on to maintain 12/12 and pulled it into my basement everyday to keep the heat down while the lid is on. The only problem is humidity with the lid on. Watch for mold close. I did not use a pot in the can though. I drilled plenty of drainage holes in it and dumped in a bunch of FFOF. It worked very good and had minimal loss to mold.

An upgrade I was goint to do to the can was mount a tube and funnel for watering. It became a PITA to water with a full canopy of nuggetry.
