Resin's Bubba and Purple Kush Bushes

Here's what I've been up to for quite a few months. These 2 have been veggin since November 07 and are now at day 36 in bloom of a 75 day trip.

Soil is FFOF with added chunky perlite.

Repotted using a series of pots until final pot size of 7 gallons.

Vegged under a 8 bulb T5.

Bloomed under 1600 watts.

Vegged using-Mother Earth Tea Grow, Fish Mix, Liquid karma, Sub Culture, Cal Mag, Sea Weed, Hygrozyme and a few odds and ends here and there.

Bloomed using-Budswell Liquid Bat Guano, Small amounts of Mother Earth Tea Bloom(that I'm gonna discontinue due to leaf burns) Liquid Karma, Carboload liquid, and CalMag

First up is a pic of both with Bubba on the left and Purple on the right. The 5 gallon bucket is there for scale. Still trying to figure out this soil thing so bear with me during the final month of bloom, lol.

CC Rider-Thanks. Was going for the box hedge look, lol

DRorganic-No where near a pound imo. The Bubba will yield the best. Believe it or not, the Purple Kush will yield a bit more han half to 3/4ths of what the Bubba does. She's a VERY low yielder, but worth the time and effort

thats what im talking about!! Awesome strains and great looking plants....the Kush lineage really loves the OF straight ill tell ya. Now with the OF, do u use nutes in half dosages or give em the full deal? because ive expierenced small burn when i give a full dose of anything with the Fox Farm soil.

Rollin Face-Thanks for checking em out. I always use 1/2 doses in soil. I'm getting some leaf burn now but it's either due to the small addition of Mother Earth Tea Bloom or I'm using too much of the hydroplex. Gonna stop the MET and cut back a couple ml's on the Hydroplex.

Hiya dogsnob. Good to see ya brother. I had an incident here and ended up loosing the Sugar Blossom. I miss her as she is/was some excellent smoke. No way to replace her. Would dearly love to get her back.

KUSHEATER1-Settle in, grab the bong, suck down a cold one and watch the show!!

snowman06-Dark roasted dank my man. The PK has a similar smell but with an astringent component to it. Very nice!!!

Chiefsmokingbud-Didn't start trimming alot until they started to bloom. Trimmed out the lower bud sites and had to remove alot of large leaves so what you see there has max light exposure. Training is not hard with these. As soon as the clone is put into it's first pot, I bend it over and use a long twist tie to hold it in place. As it gets longer it is bent over to the position I want it. The branches are also tied down and spread out as they grow. I build a frame out of bamboo stakes that are attached to the series of pots, adding additional stakes to the sides as needed to accomidate the larger growth. As long as they are started early, it's very easy for them to grow in this manner.
