I have one Legends Red Eyed Bride that started showing little yellow banana looking things on the main cola... 5 or so of them.... are these going to release pollen? should I chop them down? Im freaked... also upset because this was the plant I have a clone off of to turn into a mother as it looks to be THE FATTEST one of em all! does that mean the clone will be hermie to?

Thanks for any info

well lets see did you start from seed. or were these female plants...
did you have a heat issue in your room. What makes you think you had a female plant and it turned male.

yes started from seed.. not to extreme of a heat issue... I think that it turned because there are yellow pods dotted throughout the flower..

it sounds like you ended up with a male plant and as far as i know there is nothing you can do with it. But i dont know to much I am pretty new as well. So maybe there is someone else that can give you some input before you pull it. Good luck.....

no.. not that new... I know a male plant and a female. this was flowering beautifully for about 4 weeks and that is when i noticed 2 or 3 yellow pods in the thick sticky delicious top cola... at first I thought maybe just an odd leaf or growth... but a sneaking suspicion had me looking further into it... :cuss:

i say just pick the male flowers that you see and hope it dosent put out to many male flowers untill its done.

and about the clone , it will probably put out male flowers if the plant you took it from dident go hermie on you because of stress or chock.

hope it helps , but if someone more educated on the subject has another opinion ill be happy to have learned more.

Yeah, just pick em off, no biggie. Here's some pics of plants with male flowers to aid you in identifying yours:

I dont know if you have anymore in there you are bond to pollinate the others. Keep that in mind.

You have obviously never grown as long as the problem is not to bad you can use tweezers to pick them out. They dont just pop up and pollinate over night just be careful check your plant daily for new growths. Be sure to check the other ones. Good luck im sure your smoke will turn out fine.

If you are sure your plant has hermied, you can use Dutch Masters Reverse to stop the process and to prevent any seeding of other plants.
