They are slow..with the bad weather..but..the first few are starting to show their heads.

La Bella Noche/Lady of the Night..(is it Bella..or Belle in spanish..?)
named for her Spanish homeland and the fact that when the sun is behind her..she shows a red that reminds me of a Flamenco dancers petticoats...
She is from the Black DC/ALF I had last year. (BX1) NON AF. DC dominant.
Red under side..Metalic bronze from above
This is the First AF. Babylon..in honour of our IC mag project.
The First Black AF..EVER.
(I'm claiming it...)
She is out of the Crown Headed..White DC/ALF mom with the acclerated bud..from last season.
First time out.
(It is a sibling cross to the Black mom above. Sibling line..different parents..both sets M/F)
Her leaves look the colour of car tyres from above..but she is pure purple from below.

This is the Second Black AF...Un-named..yet..
This one is from the F3 of the Double Black cross on La Bella Noche.
La Belle Noche is a Back Cross..this is the straight IBL f3.
She is a Different Colour altogether from the First AF..and takes a lot longer to colour up..
so METHINKS..
she is probably Enough geneticly different to the first..that there is a chance I can HYB both out.
(please mother nature..pretty PLEASE....)

and the ones in the front pot are the NON-AF F3'S.

Today I have been having a cull...
all the girls set off in my down season have been cleared off the patio..ready for the growing season to start proper.
Results range from th sublime to the ridiculous..but I'm grateful to them all.. because really..
I should have nothing.
So here they are...
Don't know about you..but I'm thinking that by the time I clean them off..
I should have at least a good Days worth of smoke there...

I've been lurkin around lately. So happy spring has finally sprung! I froze my ass off ALL winter!
I haven't finished the stash yet. There's still a bunch left. The indy one has cured perfect. It has the smell of rotten fruit! The sativa one is good too. Has a nice berry flavor when rolled into a fatty.
I have a nice surprise for the next grow, but that's going to take some time.
Party at your place! Would mind trying that evil smelling ALF3

Hi mossy! first of all thanks for sharing your great work.
My project isn't so complete as yours...
As you can see making an almost pure DC auto will have some disadvantages since my point of view
So I decided to try another way: make an hybrid or polihybrid with some DC characteristics...
This were the parents I used last year in indoor to make the first cross: DC/LR
She is a selected DC that I pollinated with Low Ryder pollen:

Then I used a DC/LR male to pollinated 2 females of different autoflowering crosses (this male wasn't ATF but was the first flowering and has DC characteristics that was I was looking for:
-Autoloro f2: (LR fx x Leda 1)fx
-LR2 fx
So I have choice another way...
When they'll be bigger I'll show some pics. At the moment seem to be quite lettuce...

If I dindn't explain so good before excuse me please... Definitely I'm not looking for an exactly purple/black ATF but I really like the smell of DC, the amount of resin that she produces or her leafs appearance... But I want production too so It will be interesting...

hey mossy, nope not got a thread going at the moment. well not an important one, did start an ak47#2 outdoor thread but decided to run them indoors and impregnate them! should have a few hundred of the reworked ak47 that we all know and love
apart from that i dont think ill be having a busy year plant wise, i have actually given up smoking the stuff so just growing for the love of growing at the moment lol

I have not explained so good before... the Autoloro and LR2fx were pollinated by DC/LR but I haven't grew them since now... Now the're outside with a pair of weeks more or less...
I haven't tried to make a pure DC auto mainly because of the hermie factor as you say and because of the small production... A good breeder and a friend said me that if we want to add production to the ATF we have to choice some big yelder non ATF like a sativa/indica strain or a pure sativa (my friend cross LR with Leda1 of Kc brains) to cross with an ATF.

Getting you m8.
I pulled what I think was a way back afghan out of the JEM line..
it had the smallest Actual bud I have ever seen..
But it had the most amazing Leaf cover trics...so I was smoking more leaf.
Strength was Stupid..(so was grow smell)
so you smoked smaller quantities for the same buzz.
This was it @ F3 on the JEM line.
The Actual bud was very small.
You can see the black edge coming onto the leaf..this was the trait that I spotted on the DC that made me make the cross to try strengthening it out.
This is it on the matching White pheno..again you can see Tiny bud..
But look at the tric cover coming in...
