A statement from the band's publicist says the band is taking the action with "great regret."

Frontman Steven Tyler fell off the stage during a performance near Sturgis last week. The band says doctors have advised Tyler he needs time to "properly recuperate from the accident."

Tyler broke his left shoulder and needed 20 stitches in his head.

The statement says fans will be able to get refunds for tickets to the canceled shows.
