I have the tube sitting on a 30 gallon tank about 12" deep with water with flow thru the pipe 15 min every 3 hrs. the roots several inches long but do not sit in the water, just get fed every 3 hrs. The air temp is between 76 and 80. The water temp is very cool. The ph is below 6. The plastic cups have a hole in the bottom holing rockwool with the roots growing out the bottom. The clones were rooted when planted here. not sure about the tft system?

two days ago I increased the air flow by adding a 6" hole in the bottom of the room. Before that I had all input only from the top. I have one 245cfm pulling from the attic and one 6" input coming the the ac and one 4" input as well as one 2.5" input from my clone room, all passive inputs. All the new growth since looks really promising?

does anyone here use an odor sok? mine doesnt work so good. do they work for anyone?

fuck an odorsok, its like a home/furnace filter that has that woven carbon strip on one side. my worked only in veg, once flower got far enough along some strains would become noticeable will others like chem d/sour d CUT right through it. I made a DIY with 8oz of carbon and have no problems since.

thanks Oldpath, you should see it now. all the calyxes are a dark purple and the three saccidental seeds from my chemDkush pollen are a deep crimson. next time i feed em ill snap some shots. the other AP11xErdpurt i have running isnt as purple but its and interesting mix of pink and purple calyxes. i hope i get a male and female of this next time i run it so i can keep it around in f2s.

whats the lineage of cream caramel?

Over this summer I will be assembling a 150w cab…I hope lol
I’m scouring the thrift shops in my area lookn’ for a suitable cab: about 30” wide 15-20” deep and around 30-40” tall. No luck yet.

However while reading this thread I have noticed something, the vast majority of posts are of “look what I’m growing w a 150” and while this is all very cool I am interested as to the construction and function of your cabs. If you find the time, could you please post pics of your cabs construction etc. Not only for myself but for other aspiring members of the glorious 150w HPS club!

Oh:
CREAM CARAMEL

Sweet Seeds Female Cream Caramel Synthetic variety (V.S) result of the crossing of several of our better East Indian BlueBlack x Maple Leaf Indica x White Rhino, the V.S shares with the hybrid varieties the objective to take advantage of the hybrid vigor and to contribute homogeneity to the descendants. The flavor of this variety sweet and is carameled like of treats and very intense, fruit of the cocktail molotov of you indicate that it contains, with a bottom of terrosos shades coming from the Blue genetics that takes part in the crossing. The structure of the plant is typical of the plants you indicate, ideals for the culture of indor, great bud central and multitude of lateral branches. This type of variety usually are the favourites by the consumers of cannabis medical, quimiotipos with high levels of THC and sufficient CBD to induce relax and antidepressing states for uses. Indica/Sativa: 90%-10% Prod. Indoor: 400-550 gr/m2 Prod. Outside: 350-600 gr/plant THC: 15-20% Indoor flowering: 8-9 weeks Outdoor flowering: End of September, principles of October

zappa if you go through the whole thread youll see there are usually 2 choices in cabs, one built from scratch and one thats just a modified dresser/cabinet. if you wnt to do more work look up the NGB style box, built around a 150w bulb, and as bout as detailed as youre going to get. just keep looking, my dresser/cab cost me $5 :joint: , internals are 36x18x24.

oh the colors....

oh the colors....

the 3 footer, dark purple buds galore, a spitting image of esbe's coloration almost.

the hue is harder to see in the shorter on but you can see the nice mix of pink and green, hopefully the hues in this one come out more.

Hey all, if I plan on having my flowering chamber 18"Wx30"Lx42"H how many CFM's am I going to need? I'm gonna make a cool tube for the econo-150W with an 80mm exhaust fan (w/ passive intake). So I was thinking one or two 120mm computer fans would work. Is this about right? Here's a link to the 120mm Fan

i just bought a can 9000 to replace my odor sok which is terrible. 6 weeks into flowering and the smell through the odor sok is extreme.

hey TraneRek to figure out cubic feet you need to multiply lengthXwidthXheight, which in your case 2.5X1.5X3.5=13.125 or 13 1/8th. are you going to use a carbon filter. if so you should look into a more powerful fan.you might get away with using one of those fans, i know pipedream uses a computer fan or equivelent and he doesnt have a problem with temp from what ive read. you should also search this thread there is tons of info on exactly what you are doing. good luck and i recommend not getting a odor sok.hehe

Odor sok?

And yes, I'm gonna make a DIY carbon filter. I think what I might do is get two 120mm fans and hook a 6" Y duct to them leading to my carbon filter. I dunno, how big of a difference does it make that the air is sucked through, as opposed to blown through? Meaning chamber -> fan -> carbon filter, instead of chamber -> carbon filter -> fan? I heard having the fans after the carbon filter is better..

look up odor sok on the internet. its a carbon filter made of this carbon fabric. as for the placement of the fan, when it sucks through a carbon filter it pulls 4 times more efficient than pushing it through a carbon filter. this thread has tons of info on almost every topic.

I replaced my water using tap water. My ppm was 300. My ph was red. I added ph down and my ph went to light yellow but my ppm went up to 1980 without out adding any nutes. How can I get my ppm and ph both good levels?

labtec, thanks again for all the help. For what it's worth, I read the first like 20+ pages of this thread but that was before I realized it was 200+ pages long.. A little hard to sift through eh? even with the search it can be hard to find specific answers..

hehe. youre right tranerek this thread is huge. when i first found this thread i would read a few pages a day, sometimes 10-20 pages a day. good luck, hopefully you find the right fan for your setup. i would almost recommend a squirrel cage fan for the price and volume of air it pulls.

I have a small can filter myself, and it seems to be doing a good job so far. The only minor complaint I have about Can is that their specs are kind of retarded.

Outside diameter is 5.5"; max cfm is 42/71 m3h @ 0.1 second contact time.

They should list everything in feet, and not mix up feet and meters in the same specs. That's weird and confusing.

CFM means Cubic feet per minute, so why answer that question in meters ? Now that is some retarded shit right there. I don't care where they're from, or what their excuse is, there's no good reason for that in my opinion.
