It took forever.. ROOTS!

After going back to the water bottle method I had no issues. The clone bucket is to expedite the process using a little bit of phosphorus.

Cheers!

She is getting spicy!

Wasabi Kush has a very nice smell in early flower, I cannot wait to see how she does mid-flower!

Nothing to complain about with Bridgelux so far, I’m excited to see what I get this time!

Cheers!

I put a fan above the Vero’s on full blast, it is brighter now and a lot more red came out of the 2700K 97 CRI.

I think it is time to look at running these babies @ 1.4A.

Cheers!

Measured and observed.

I raised the light on both accounts.

The instrument may be faulty but the plant never lies to me, when both match I know the tool isn’t broken.

🤣
An inexpensive instrument will be able to tell you the difference between two light levels, even if it isn't necessarily accurate about exactly what those light levels are. I need a cheap light meter myself.

I’m not expecting it to be 100% accurate, as long as I am ~20% then I’m sure I can dial it in. Like you said, we really just need to know if we are heading in the right direction.

Which I found the halogen IR to not be to my liking. The incandescent seems to provide a better spread of light even if lower powered.

Temperature has been raised to 87° F.

VPD has been raised to 1.5 kPa.

Reflectors have been added to the 2700K 97 CRI, a fan has also been placed above the heatsinks, the 3000K 80 CRI chips produce more PAR than the 2700K 97 CRI and I will most likely be switching back to the 3000K 80 CRI @ 1.4A instead of 1.05A. The cooling solution is the only roadblock at the moment.

Cheers!

Cooling solution?

Oh! I thought you were talking about some magic sauce combination of water, glycol and the vaginal secretions of virgin fairies or something LOL

Nah, there are many’s ways to look at the problem. All of this requires displacing large quantities of heat energy for 12 hours in an environment that is close to 90°F.

I pushed her up to 88°F last night, no signs of stress, a very strong smell this morning and she looks plenty thick for being early flower.

The 150W vegetation luminaire is too powerful, I had to swap it for the 100W @ 75% power. The clones were just getting beat down by the light so I made a shade top for them and cut the stem back a bit. Roots are growing, just very slowly. I’ll need to find a better place to put these.
