I think we're still looking a little light in color. The leaves are no longer really drooping. I'm thinking my PPM may be a little low. Not sure. Technaflora recommends 1000. I'm at 902. Finally throwing down some water roots. Suggestions are most welcome.

They look like they are starving/lockout,when was the last nutrient swap? When you see red stalks/petioles(aometimes it can be genetic) that tells you your mix sucks.

Why don't you start a grow report, misstricky?
You opened three threads in a short time, but now it's all over the shop.
A grow report will keep it all in one place neatly. You do sound like you could use a bit of help.

If you spray the leaves with a mix of Epsom salts (1g/L water) those leaves will look healthy as in three to foru days. Spray twice or three times a day.

And check out what's in your reservoir. I personally don't think the red stems are the problem here. They do look hungry as Fook.
Maybe the temps of the res aren't right..a few things to check on. I'd up the calmag too

I'd keep it at ec 1.3 all up for now till it starts gaining weight and height and then adjust to its growth

Thank you for your help. I'm sorry I didn't mean to overwhelm the thread. My late husband OUTAME (very very well known in the "Hobby Growing with Frends forum. He was the professional grower and I'm trying to remember everything he taught me. You're right, I do need some assistance. Things have drastically changed within the last 12 years since he grew.

I'm sure the lads here are happy to chime in to all your questions. Just fire up.

I didn't mean you're overwhelming us, I just thinks it's gonna be hard to keep up if it's all spread in different threads.

Good luck with the plants, a list of what you have and gave already and a little about your setup probably wouldn't hurt.

Talk soon...off to work 💩 🙈 yuk

Thank you so so much. I do have a grow log here on paper. If you could please direct me to a single forum (grow log) and I'd love any help you could offer. PM, etc etc.

The plant looks like the pH is too high. Keep your nutrient solution ph'd to 5.8 at all times and make sure you are using veg nutrients.

For quicker more specific help list the details of your grow such at pH, temps, RH, nutrients.

Good luck with your grow.

. Really got a good for system now as well. I'm still thinking the calmag may be a little low. Dropped her Ph down to 5.7. Temps are 68-72. My ppm is 890.

my apologies for not replying sooner...

When transplanting into hydroton there is almost always what may seam like there are/is an issues. This can seam to be more noticeable when transplanting from one medium type (other then hydroton) into hydroton. You simply just have to wait till the new roots start to grow into the hydroton and into the water... Durning the time you are waiting for the roots to grow out, your plants can start looking like there is an issue due to them pulling from them selves to power the growth of the new roots. In 7-10 days after transplanting them you should start to see them to start to pick up, first with new root growth an then seeing them start to grow again.

It looks like your plant is starting to recover from being transplanted

Are you using Techneflora's full line of nutrients or just the grow+boost (or bloom + boost for flower)?

I found that a ph of 6.2 is best with Techneflora. But that can depend on how your PH varies. I have seen that younger roots need/do best with a lower range of 5.8-6.2-6.4 then when they get older a range of 6.0-6.2-6.8 (lower PH range, mid PH range, top end PH to explain me using three PH points for the whole range) that does best.

I believe I run half strength of what they recommend, my veg nutes would be something like 600-800ppm. It's been a while since I used it for veg, I've been using General Hydroponics nutes for veg for a while now then switch back to the B.C.nutes for flower.

I grow RDWC for many years and for a roots in type of system I don't go above 1.3 EC or 650 PPM ever. 1000 ppm sounds like a bit to much for a roots in system. Just my 2 cents.
Water can be tricky. You need to keep all parameters in range or things go south real quickly. Water temp of 72 is asking for rot to occur. Would be much better at 65. Hard to use a chiller on a DWC. Can you bring the air in from a cold space? They are looking better tho.
Have a sweet day. Peace, negative.
