Most health care providers allow changes of primary care physicians. My company allows this with the click of a button, and I have a new one the next day, available to make an appointment with. If I am not satisfied with my care, or primary physician, I definitely consider changing. If appropriate I would ask for a new regime of testing. With my current provider I have changed primary's three times because of not being comfortable with them. For me, it is extremely important that I feel good about my doctor, and concurrently believe I can trust they are truly looking out for me individually. I give them as much information as I have about my condition, in writing, and then ask them to please get busy. This has always proven beneficial. With additional background information they can justify additional testing and care over what might be the norm, without getting called out on the carpet, for spending too much time or money. I am doing this very thing right now with my primary physician regarding an ongoing condition that needs to be addressed. Putting it in writing forces them to see and hear. And to act and behave accordingly.

@Boo -- At the very least, go to a walk-in clinic. You need the antibiotics, bro. I talked with Scooter after we got offa the phone, and he says antibiotics will help your weakened-by-chickenshit-dust bod to aid resistance to other infection. He says your immune system is weakened right now, and you are therefore vulnerable to other dangerous problems without taking antibiotics.
I go to get my blood drawn tomorrow at 9:30 and I will make it a doctors appointment for the beginning of the week once they have my blood test in. My GP has a tendency to wanna send me the specialist and I’m about tired of that crap because he’s a doctor and he can do anything a specialist can do if he looks up to cure. I guess I misread him when I started going there.
I’m sitting outside enjoying the evening and I’m watching Ivan run around under every tree in the front yard chasing squirrels. He’s such a silly little boy when he wants to be.
