I wet seed in May and she popped July 9th. Someone here suggested allowing more time for Himalayan type seed to sprout which made sense to me.

I just keep em moist and will admit to poking around in the area after a week or so. If she’s still there looking viable I might just toss her quickly into some tap water and H2O2 for a quick rinse and restore them back underground. That works for me on older seed or seed I’ve been gifted with no provenance…ymmv

Now that is really some exciting looking sativa. When I ordered from RSC I was gifted 20 of these seeds. I have been excited to grow Nepalese offerings from Ace and now from RSC. I have seeds from both companies.
How did you like your ace nepal?mine felt like a “sativa” but with a very “indica” like feel with the terpene profile.

Anyone have any experience with Hopar?

EDIT: I realized the sprouts in this picture aren't Hopar, they are Hispar Valley. Whoops!

Hey Wheatbread, I planted some the other week in seed starter mix. 5 of 7 sprouted in 3 days. Then I planted another 2. Overall 7 of 9 have sprouted so far. The tall ones are a week old.

Awesome! Thanks for this. I've been thinking about trying some outdoors this year, I'm super curious about the terpenes.

@Pédetoddy , Thanks for that Nepali Mountain Ganja picture, that dude is a monster. Does anybody know if Nepali Mtn Ganja could be kept small enough to grow in an 6 ft tall grow space? Like say if one uses 12/12 light from seed?
Greetings!

I have 3 of these males flowering in my current indoor grow; a combination of 1-gallon pots and some moderate bending kept them small enough to fit in a 5ft space for me, without using 12/12 from seed.

For a sense of what happened to them indoors, here are some pictures of my run of these males. Please be aware that I made a lot of mistakes and these males are likely not fully expressing their capabilities. These males were the only 3 seeds of Nepali Mountain Ganja I got to germinate after 2 months. All three seemed to have weak stems and are about 4 weeks into flowering.

First male: This one was the first to germinate, and also seemingly more nutrient-sensitive than the others. This is likely my fault though, as all my plants are fed on the same schedule, and the rest of my plants are SEA landraces much earlier on in flowering. This male was the only one I managed to get clones of, which took almost 5 weeks in plugs.

Third male. This one topped itself at the very first node.

Wow, even the side branches are really long. Will you be using the pollen from these for anything? It certainly looks like you will have enough!

Salutations!

I’m planning to pollinate some of the lower branches of my female plants and see what comes out! The rest of my garden is TRSC Burmese and TRSC Mekong (2023 accession, not the 2024 Mekong #2), all female plants except for one Burmese male.

Tangentially, I did save clones of all of the SEA plants (boy and girls!) in case I manage to find more SEA males in the future for pollinations. Hoping I’ll be able to provide a grow/smoke report on the Mekong when they finish; they’re very interesting plants so far, but judging from the descriptions TRSC gives I think it’ll be another ~18 weeks of flowering since they’re still very early on.
