Stopped into the hydro store closest to me. Place is a shitshow. I figured they might have some flat trays. I didn't feel like driving the hour and a half and getting 100 bundle from the Mennonites. I'll do that when I get my Spring farm supplies.

I walk in and the guy immediately says, I have clones for sale....10 bucks each. I looked at them and did my holy best not to crack up and slap my knee pointing with laughter. This guy had, and I kid you not, 1/2" tall clones. I thought they were fake. Little green toothpicks sticking up with a fraction of a leaf, barely.

When I recovered enough to ask why are they so small he said because less leaf doesn't show the powdery mildew so easily. I asked if they had powder mildew and he said the mother's do but once you clone it goes away. Wow.

So intrigued by this screaming dummy I asked what are the strains?

I grew some fem seeds and these are the clones. I'm a breeder so these are my breeder cuts. Really, how's the smoke I asked. He looked at me like I was asking for the recipe to coca cola and said how should I know??

I couldn't keep a straight face very well and thanked him and left so laughter could commence. Forgot all about the trays but I'm good. Went home and took a shower I felt so grungy being in that place.

Your customers are so lucky to have someone as knowledgeable as yourself helping them with their grow questions. However stupid they may be, I get the feeling you take the time to explain things to them and legitimately help people grow better canna. Good on you!

at least the occasional noob throws a tip my way...

and for that matter the commercial folks who i often have to load full pallets of medium by hand for...

luckily the shop owner is also generous with the bonuses

surprisingly i never saw them...parents said no hard rock concerts...and it was the 80's so i saw the police a half dozen times,REM,boston,and oddly a lot of punk bands in small,dimly lit clubs...but the parental units said no zepplin,or rush...
little did they know it was my sister taking me to the shows and we were blazing up the fatties the whole time...they were thinking hard rock = lots of drugs...

garden chores finished,got 20 clones into cups,harvested 9 plants,and trimmed a qp of gmo today...and did 11 miles of errands...

mornin campers...off to the bike shop after coffee time and morning chores...dropping off the wheel parts...

pretty excited to get this project finished...


then back for garden clean up after the harvest last night,and i should be sending the tote of wedding cake off to the trimmers...and doing my taxes,i think i should get enough back to get two 4x4 fabric beds and enough 3.0 to fill in what i don't have here,maybe even a 3x3 for a tent as well or three 4x4 beds...

it would be awesome to get the main flower room converted to beds,only need to water every 3-4 days...



super windy today,gonna be an interesting ride,might have to look for a strava segment going the right direction for a helpful push from the wind!

3x3 getting close to done,probably should have trellised it,sorta a mess in there...

ac infinity 4x8....yeah,it got a wee bit tall in there...

2x4 bas tent,should probably think about getting the trellis set and flip it...

veg tent,front rows of plants looking fully recovered...2 weeks in happy frog

and the led room,once again,late on the trellis...

and the pheno hunt tent...
