Ladies and gentlemen, fellow growers and enthusiasts, I invite you to join me here in my exploration of the Ace Seeds genepool.

After a brake from indoor growing of 13 years (!) I bought myself yesterday a flowering light and moved the plants that I started in the last days of 2024 into the bigger tent.

From the top left to bottom right we have here the following genetics:
2x Lebanese
2x New Caledonia
1x Kali China
1x Zamaldelica fem
1x Green Haze x Zamaldelica

On the second tray:
2x Congo f2 that I made during my last indoor grow in 2012
1x Nepal Mist
3x Grapefruit (fms) x (Bangi Haze/Bangi Haze/Purpurea Ticinensis x F13/Apollo11) from an accidental pollination outdoors in 2016

I will be pollinating the lot with Auto Zamaldelica pollen when they show a little more pistils. I want to make the necessary seedstock for the outdoor adaptation project, to be able to direct seed my guerilla spot.

Good luck with your project! It is going to get crowded in there. Are you looking to run these as F1 fast crosses or to breed them to full auto?

I'm at 45N latitude, and have wanted to try Ace's gear for years but have been hesitant due to our short-ish season here. Anything that will work (finish time) for you should work for me, so I will be watching your progress eagerly.

Best of luck with the girls!

Thanks. I'm looking to do both eventually. First to see how the F1 cross performs. Then if I find something that I like that is still too late flowering, I will go for the full auto.

I have already tried a few things over the last two years. Nepal Jam x Kali China, Bangi Congo x Panama, Violeta were done from mid to end October, which is fine for my area. Bangi Haze and Kali China were a little too late with early November finish.

That's very good to know. My harvest deadlines aren't that much different that yours, anything that finishes by Halloween is good here.
Some years I can roll on into the first week of November if need be, other years I've had to dig plants out of the snow by letting them go that late, lol, so I guess ya never really know.
I'm going to check out Nepal Jam x Kali China, Bangi Congo x Panama, and Violeta. They should all finish nicely in my neck of the woods. Bangi Haze and Kali China might be possibilities when I can up my greenhouse game a bit.
Thanks for the info & I'll be watching this thread with interest in the coming weeks/months.

I did the Auto Zamaldelica at 45N last summer. Planted in June, harvested in mid-September. It was pretty much exactly as the description stated as far as timings. It is great smoke for an autoflower but I do think it could be improved by taking it in a more sativa direction.

Last plants to show sex were the Green Haze x Zamaldelica (fem) and one of the Congo f2 (male). A day before Nepal Mist showed herself to be (fem) as well. The male was removed. Tomorrow I will apply the Auto Zamaldelica pollen. I hope it's still viable after 5 months in the freezer. Tomorrow I will also cut some clones. Just in case.

I'm on a similar quest, though full auto is what I need here. I'm at 41N, but on the coast and it gets very damp and rainy by the beginning of October if not earlier. New Caledonia is the only strain we have in common. I do have Ace Lebanese seeds as well, but don't think they have the mold resistance I need. It's so hard to grow all of the strains I want to grow in a limited space. I'm sure nearly everyone on this forum understands that feeling.

Anyway...good luck with your project! I'm going to follow along and am excited to see how it turns out for you.

Here is the garden today. Plants are growing quick and I have run into some deficiency issues I think. Red petioles, pale leaves, some of the plants keep their leaves down vertical as if to avoid the bright light. Especially the Nepal Mist. What do you think?

I fertilized yesterday with the bloom formula from C-Result. Well see.

The Nepal Mist has the nicest (peppery) stem rub smell. Two of the Grapefruit crosses are smelling sweet and fruity.

More Grapefruits, both sweet smelling, one slender one stocky:

Yellowing progressing on all plants. The C-Result nutrients don't seem to do anything. Next watering I'm switching to the juice that leaches from my worm farm.

Plants start to produce resin.
