As someone who was indoctrinated at a young age, I concur. It took me years to unlearn that there was a man in the sky who was in charge of everything, who I owed my life to, who would reward me only for believing in him, no matter the terrible things I might do. Scientific method certainly helped. Believing in kindness to living beings wiped it out.this is a win

i'm generally a libertarian, but when it comes to blatant child abuse (such as religious indoctrination), i get pretty upset. it's something about the defenseless of a vulnerable person, i guess i'm a bleeding heart in that way...
