I’m trying to create a roughly 1:1:2 NPK ratio feed.
I have GT Formulex liquid NPK RATIO 2 - 0.9 - 3.3
MPK (salt) NPK RATIO 0 - 52 - 34
Let’s say I want to make up 5lt of water with a 1-2-2 NPK ratio using the above salts.
I’m assuming in this calculation 1ml = 1g
If the recommended dose of formulex is 5ml per litre, then 25ml total is required
Therefore 25ml Formulex contains NPK weight 50mg - 22.5mg - 82.5mg
I then add 50mg (0.05g) of MPK to the 25ml of Formulex
0.05g of MPK contains NPK weight 0mg - 26mg - 17mg
So mixing 25ml GT Formulex with 50mg MPK creates a total NPK weight:
50mg - 48.5mg - 99mg
Which equates roughly to an NPK RATIO of 1 - 1 - 2
Would those calculations be correct?
And if so, i could make a stock solution of GT Formulex 500ml and 1g of MPK mixed together, and diluted to the EC that i require?
