#2 is extremely citrusy. So much that even snails wanted a sniff and were then unable tos top. Greedy bastards...

As long as there is green leaves and the tips (sprouts) are intact, as well as the roots, everything will be ok. But sure, when the plants are still so small it's a bit dangerous and can be very negatively affected, so you did well in securing them for now.
