3.5 lb plants / maximizing low plant counts

This is to help people that are limited by plant counts but still want to hit maximum levels. I was limited and was able to get to the point of hitting almost 4 lb plants indoors both in an LED room and a 1000w double ended room . Most of the time I won't hit 4 but 2.5 to 3.5 lb per plant. Under 9 double ended I would have 6-8 plants .

I grow mostly coco with drip emitters drain to waste and perlite/vermiculite mix drain to waste.

What I found was that many strains will never be able to hit these marks and that hitting the yield per plant is strain dependent more than anything else . Sativa dominant hybrids , sativa landrace crossed to modern hybrids were the way to go. Indica was too difficult and slow veg.

Here are two planrs that yielded 3 to 3.5 each.

Thank you for sharing your work with us friend. Those look really good and heavy. How much run-off do you get with those big plants? How do you get rid of your run-off waste?

During flower they got one minute 8 times per day , the waste drained outside to the back lot . I didn't check runoff volume but it drained pretty well .

Very impressive,
How do you stagger your lights and plants to maximize yield?

Thanks Maryanne.
The ceiling is 15 feet . The lights are 1000w de . They are about 2 feet above the canopy and spaced 5.5 feet apart. I do 6-9 plants under every 9 lights depending on strain and how big they got during the allotted veg time . This is now 14 days in , I'm going to bend down one last time and lollipop now as they are getting too close to the light. Being part landrace they will usually have a bit more stretch for the next few days even......
