When I returned to college I managed to gain a few hours of employment with the college as an assistant to the instructor. One of my jobs was to administer the TAP(talent assessment program), I would have to observe and record the students results. It was interesting to see how people would become frustrated doing certain actions, like assembling large bolts and nuts in contrast to assembling small bolts and nuts. Working with electronics or being a dentist would require an individual who can work with small objects in a confined space. A heavy duty mechanic would generally work with larger items. Students could show frustration while trying to handle these tasks.

I hope I am making sense I am somewhat spaced out and tired.
I was fortunate and started young and grew into working with the equipment I was issued with😊

One of my guilty pleasures is watching dumpster divers rescue food + other items
out of dumpsters to avoid the land fill

I find waste, especially when we live in a world of food insecurity for so many;
an avoidable and abominable practice.
The fact that it's a common practice and these wasteful companies receive compensation,
IMO is not only morally criminal it should be legally criminal as well.

We really gotta figure out a 'better way' sigh.

Anyway... last summer on a whim prior to doing some shopping, I popped around the
back of the store just to survey the status of their dumpster.

Wholly shit batman!
I don't eat fruits and veggies yet I could not stop myself from pulling out everything
I could reach from the side door.

Took me about 10 min. to rescue the boxes just sitting on top.
I was so very nervous. DD isn't illegal here but... if the store wanted to though...
it is still trespassing.
15 bags of green grapes, 16 Qt's strawberries, 14 pt's blueberrys and 12 6oz. packages
of blackberries came home with me that day.

After arriving home and loading all these boxes filled with food I don't even eat,
I thought... WTH did you just do?
Better yet... WTH are you going to do with all of this beautiful food?

Well... give it away of course.

I processed everything as I always do. Removing all the bad/ moldy items,
filled the sink w/ cold water and 1C white vinegar. Wash fruits/ veggies/ berries
and their containers in the w/v solution, strain, place on a towel, dry and
repackage.

Doing this with my own purchases doesn't take long at all and saves
produce from fridge rot/ waste.
In about 2 1/2 hours time, all was re boxed and ready for neighbors to come pick up.

All and all... pretty epic first DD experience :)

I've been a few times since and have rescued more than only food times.

Tales for another day though ;)

mostly surgical skill.

A few surgeries ago my assisting surgeon came in on the day stinking of booze. He only had one eye, one leg and actually told me the whole team had been hard at it raving all weekend.

reminded me of fear n loathing but before i ciould say anything they'd injected me with the truth serum.
I agree about the surgical skills
I had the operation they give baby boys at 1 day old.
He was a buffoon.
After that surgery I didnt walk for almost 12 months.
Good Morning all!

they did that to me too…I was so shocked that I never spoke for about a year
Supposed to have that shit done while you're a baby that way you don't remember it.
That would haunt me for the rest of my days

Good morning peoples. I’ve been up for about an hour and a half and I have been sucking the cold out of my ice pack. Sitting in a chair hunched over trimming plants was definitely not something. My back was looking forward to, but once I get moving around I should be in good shape, my thoughts are with gypsy and Kevinn right now along with Giggy, I think we’re the only four that are having medical issues and if I miss somebody, I apologize. I poked my nose into my flower tent, which looks completely different than it did yesterday. My veg tent is growing faster than I wish it would.

If you really want to get disgusted work for a big university like Stony Brook.
They will have a event and expect 3000 kids
They get 1500 kids and wind up throwing out trays of way above average foods.
My buddy does commercial kitchen repair and took home enough food to make his 2 pigs he got at home very pleasingly plump

I’m looking to have these installed on my shoulders and knees

View attachment 18994017

I once worked at a factory that produced elbow, knee and hip replacements of titanium and cobalt.
I was finish and QC and the precision required is nothing short of amazing.

I was astounded by abundance of different sizes and shapes of each lot of replacements.
Was a very cool job and I learned a lot there.
Worked with all men also which suites me fancy :D

This is what came up out of the bigsur holy weed.
the ones always droopy like that no matter what.......not sure why.
The other has been stalled out for a couple weeks now with zero growth.
I got 0 out of another set of seeds and thought it was me maybe so dropped some greencrack x haze13 and they all popped no problems.
I suspect time is the culprit.
