The sativa influence is pretty evident on some and much less on others, if the heavy sativa dominant phenotypes lack the resin development I want I'm just going to nix them, too big for this ballroom.
Beef bourguignon male, another perfect match, super resinous, perfect structure, strong resistance to pests and stress. The female I have of this pheno is looking like a real keeper. No double serrations.
"Spruce Marmalade" Male phenotype. Sweet syrupy lime/sprucetip jam. One of the best smelling males in this batch, I hope I find a female like this in the flowering room.
Just past midway point for some of these plants, very low expectations now on the super stretchy phenotypes, overall too many not producing, slow development, way too Thai dominant.
About 2 weeks until the first plants are ready for harvest. Then cure/fermentation process to select for the best chemotypes. A few indica dominant(rounded fat floral clusters, wide leaf, fast maturing, hash plant) plants will be ready soon including the Black Currant pheno.
Like all "Pinot Noir" phenotypes, this one changes color right before harvest, purples, reds and yellows. This plant has a good amount of Thai influence as well.
There's a killer black Cherry soda phenotype in this batch, I never got one even when I grew 4 packs of plushberry... I'm happy it's a tough plant too, heavy yield potential, not the wispy foxtail heirloom pheno the grandmother to this hybrid was.
