Hiya @pop_rocks, thanks and good thread. I used to like football but seems like lately they've f'd it up, too much money thrown around and the owners shenanigans like Bob Kraft getting off the hook for his happy end massage. Money rules for them f'ks but not us.
There's not enough time in the day for me, single damaged old timer gotta do cooking, cleaning and everything else besides growing weed.
Wish I was in your climate rather than the cold N.E.
hey man!
whos talking football here? but these guys are cool
socal is nice but snow is kind of cool, especially if it dosnt cost $5/gal
so you like the pawts? huh?
im going to retell a story from back in the day

she gives me a patriots t shirt and beanie hat

i always try to avoid violence. but, a protracted non-violent stand-off might be cool, though. can we have cold beer, weed, and munchies to keep our energy up ? :smoke::yummy:
whoah brother! you just raised the stakes!
now i need to get in on this! but im making ribs so it takes a few hours just to cook
but there will be a shoot out
so doobah is living hand to mouth for the most part and aoh is broke as country, i say lets shoot pops!

so what would be buzz trips guide to fla look like
I'd recommend a state park trip across the panhandle as you work your way south along the Gulf Coast. The beaches in the panhandle from Pensacola to Saint George Island are the most beautiful in the state. Snow white sand dunes and clear emerald and sapphire water are stunning. Go south towards Tampa and check out Manatee Springs State Park. 1.5 hour drive south to Weeki Wachee from there and all the mermaids you can eat at the buffet.

Shark teeth are further south near Sarasota. Caspersen Beach in Venice is the spot to find teeth. Stop by my house before you make the right turn heading south from the panhandle. I have a sand flea rake you can use to sift the surf and sand for teeth.
https://www.visitsarasota.com/article/guide-venices-shark-tooth-capital-world

Might as well cruise farther south to Fort Myers and visit Thomas Edison and Henry Ford's homes and museum. Then head east across Alligator Alley and make another right hand turn in Homestead so you can see what the Florida Keys are all about. John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park has a glass bottom boat tour, snorkel tours and dive tours if you want to see the reef.

Key West has a lot to see and it's the end of the line so turn around when you are done seeing the stuff there and head north. East coast of Florida has more cities lined up side by side and plenty of traffic. Cape Canaveral is interesting especially if there is a rocket launch scheduled. St. Augustine will provide another place to see lots of 'stuff' and Anastasia Island State Park is across the Bridge of Lions. There is an amphitheater at the park that hosts concerts. My wife and I got to listen to a Jackson Browne concert one evening when we were camping at the park.

Go north toward Jacksonville and check out Little Talbot Island for a wild coast shoreline without condos. Fernandina Beach is north of Jacksonville and it's another town with cool 'stuff' to see and do. Fort Clinch State Park is there and there are probably some molecules of CO2 hanging around from my daze spent living in the fort.

The small towns along US and State highways away from the coast in Florida are interesting. You can find those along the way when you venture inland. Look for the springs and the small towns will appear.

Enjoy the drive and obey all traffic laws. Keep an eye out for the black and tans.

If you find the right spot FL seems like a damn good choice to live. Im leaning toward TX too but like i said if you find the right spot.Havent been to either but lived in GA for 15 years give or take. GA was nice but cant stand most of the people.

I havent had RC cola in a while, it was always the cheaper option than coke/pepsi, it was alright, maybe a little less sweet than the others?
I do love peanut butter sweets, it mixes well with chocolate: milkshakes, reese's, brownies, cheesecake etc. Gotta add the fat (peanut butter) to the sugar (chocolate) for an all around fattening product.
Yeah Pops i guess living the bachelor life, no wife or kids in the home ur just eating out most of the time.
I hear California is enacting some new utility bill tax or something? U think Governor Newsome will some day be President? I know he wants to.

I was thinking about Bob Kraft's rub and tug criminal case recently, Mike, and it just sounded so unbelievable to me. Like he thought he was getting a legit massage and the masseuse jerked him off and he's like "this place is wonderful!". That's when even black people are like "*igga please". Ol' boy knew what he was up to. But that doesnt mean the criminal case against him wasnt effed up. Law enforcement used the Patriot act to get a warrant to install hidden video cameras in the massage rooms. Like how does an anti-terrorist act authorize investigations against prostitution? Even the supposed sex trafficking claim by the police/prosecutors was debunked, none of these women were trafficked, they came of their own accord to give handies and blowies and make some cash.

A rooftop cinema seems like a cool way to watch a movie, Hawk, but i bet drinks are expensive. Spaceballs is hilarious but ive seen it a few times already, i guess watching and laughing with other people would make it fresh again.

What'd u think of the Volunteer players in the draft, Hippy? The RB got taken by miami in the 4th, and QB joe milton was drafted in the 6th rd by the patriots. He adamantly refuses to move to Tight end but if he cant make it as a backup QB he should make the switch, might increase his pro earnings by 10x like with logan thomas.

That's a pretty comprehensive list of things to do in FL, Buzz, thank u. Ive copied and pasted it into a word doc on my computer so i dont lose track of it.
Is there any cheap waterfront real estate left in FL? Maybe around the northeast coast, near Jacksonville? What about trailer parks, are they pretty cheap?

i never thought of checking out the old forts but that would be cool too!
thanks again for the insightful run down brother!
and i always obey the posted speed limits, esp when im not here on the california speedway
i set the cruise control when im on the freeway so i just have to keep it between the mayonnaise and the mustard

@Bababooey
yeah peanuts are like a force multiplier! where they make good things great
but i like eating peanuts plain too! boiled in the shell or dry roasted im digging in
but like i said i like to stuff my fat face with whatever i can get my hands on and its even sweeter if its salty!
/remember those payday bars? f'n grinding
i think beyond rape or shit like that most sex crimes are bunk!
im not talking about pimping or stuff like that but if a woman wants to sell her body, whats the big deal?
look at all the porn?
/exhibit A: any link on teh prons hub

Is there any pirate stuff in FL, like real deal old pirate bases or even forts? I guess pirates didnt build forts or anything like that.

Are you into sharks, Pops, or just their teeth? Some people really like them, like want to go diving with sharks and stuff like that. I guess the vast majority of them are fairly harmless, but tiger sharks and great whites can be unpredictable/aggressive if they think confuse u with food.

Havent had a payday in a while but yeah, peanuts and nougats and caramel, right? Is that basically a snickers without the chocolate?

Maybe u should sell the san diego home and move out to FL. We'll buy a spread on the north east coast and DB can grow cannabis, Hawk can distill moonshine, and you and I can smoke trees and #uck beeotches.

im totally into sharks just like im into all wild life
but i dont want to swim with sharks or see them when im in the water, but i dont mind observing them from afar
i have a couple good shark stories, plus a few lame ones but it kind of freaks you out when you think you realise you are not at the top of the food chain anymore
i also just like fossils! and shit like that
got any cool rocks?
i think about selling the cali pad from time to time
if it wasnt for my mom i just might split
plus houses are dirt cheap everyplace but where i live! so i could buy 10x the house for half the money!
way to go california

Yeah maybe u can take ur mum with u. I'd have to bring mine. Maybe they could live in a trailer on our land and drive each other crazy. That'd be funny. It'd be like Trailer Park Boys, right Hawk?

That depends on your definition of 'cheap waterfront' and what kind of water and how close to the waterfront.

Don't forget to budget for property insurance.

Elliott Key and Caesar's Creek have pirate stories. A friend and I nearly swamped his Dad's boat in a thunderstorm coming back across the Bay after water skiing off of Elliott Key. We could not see a thing but rain and wind driven waves breaking over the stern. We knew we were being driven off course and finally we saw the cooling tower of Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant and headed for the shoreline. It took a while to unpucker.

https://www.floridakeys-guide.com/biscayne-national-park/caesars-rock/

My shark story is never put cut bait in your pocket when wading out to fish the second sand bar. It was a short story.

EDIT to add:
I did not know that Elliott Key is now a National Park with camping. All you need is a tent and a boat to get out there.

It's my dream to have my own trailer park, Hawk. All of us and our families can live there and id ride around in a golf cart like King Baba and trade rent extensions for blow jobs. Dont worry Hawk i'd just ask my friends for hand jobs, that's the friend discount.

Alright Buzz, so if ur on a nice oceanfront beach expect to pay 7 figures for a single family home, but if youre facing a marsh or canal it's much cheaper. Dang that's expensive. FL has so much coast you'd think some of it would be undeveloped at least.
I heard about FL homeowner's insurance, some of the big ins co's are backing out of the FL market as well because of fraud? Like people claiming hurricane or wind damage to their roofs even when it was just normal wear and tear?

So you almost got swept out to sea during a storm, Buzz? I hear stories about fishermen in small boats getting swept out to sea and their radio breaks or loses power and it takes weeks before theyre found, they had to drink their own urine or collect rain water, etc. Never underestimate the power of the sea.

@Bababooey
some places in fla are nice and its never cheap to live on the water unless its a swamp or some run down place
but a normal home in some burb would work, or get some land and build
it cant be any more expensive than socal, plus the cost of gas and food is way cheaper
the insurance companies pulled that same sh!t here in california and i dont think state farm does home owners insurance here anymore
they say it costs too much to rebuild so they pulled every ones policy
/f'u state farm
i bet there are a lot of storm damage claims in fla

@buzzmobile
how far out was the second sand bar
ive seen some beaches where you can wade hundreds of meters from shore and still be in knee deep water
the sharks just thought you were handing out treats!
i bet there are a lot of pirate places down there! wasnt the caribbean know for being a hot bed for piracy?

@shithawk420
that would be classic comedy! to set up a trailer park for the moms
plus dident you say your mom was tiny? my mom is like 5'tall and tiny af
but she will out eat you and i together!
what about your mom @Bababooey would she be down to camp out?

Yeah im thinking any nice beaches, clean water and sand, those places got snatched up a long time ago. Like u said, any swampy areas and such are the best the poor folk can hope for. I guess if u dont mind mosquitos as long as your finger it's not so bad.

Insurance companies are the worst but to be fair, if theyre losing tons of $$ in certain areas u cant really blame them, their aim is to make $ or at least not lose it, unless the govt steps in to subsidize certain policies what choice do they have? Either the entire company has to go bankrupt or cut ur losses.

That's where all the pirates were, around the carribbean but i wasnt sure how much of their home bases were on the mainland, FL. There's a lot of small islands around the gulf of mexico/atlantic that a pirate gang could hide out in.

My mum's not much of a eater but she does like to walk, they can go on daily walks together.
I'd watch that show, Trailer Park moms. I think i've seen that series on pornhub, actually. If i saw my mom on a video like that i'd have to scoop my eyes out with a spoon and then kill myself because that image would be seared into my brain.

i like walking too
way to spoil the orgy! @Bababooey
maybe getting a pirate island would be a better move!
that would be sweet owning an island but you would need constant resupply most likely, unless you had a source of fresh water
we could host sex parties and....
/oh i see its been done before and it dident turn out too well
you are totally right about how insurance companies arent charities and need to make money
im sure in some cases it would be the federal gov who would ultimately step in to cover major losses
i have nothing against the free market but i was a customer for like over 20yrs and never filed a claim
/thats for taking all my money for nothing
i have a friend who dosent have a mortgage and he self insures, like he dosent have insurance but if anything happens to his house hes the one footing the bill
but it makes sence, he lives in the middle of the burb and if his house burned down it would mean half the whole community burned down too
same with an earthquake
/feed me fema!
