What a waste of time . Btw imagine reviving a thread that was dead for 10 months, just to tell the OP to throw his weed in a bonfire.
Hi guys! Been a while. I looked into the cob method and hell yeah that looks super interesting. Ill try that this year!Cob method, hands down the winner for most of the stash. I second the small fan and charcoal filter in a small space/tent suggestion.
If you kept any in the freezer... Do yourself a favor and stay away from iso, it makes a crap product compared to using ethanol and it also causes cumulative tissue damage. Pay the extra dollars and enjoy the extra flavorful and healthy product made with ethanol.
Food grade high proof ethanol is not legal here I’m afraid. Max we have is 80% rum. So here people go with ISO.Cob method, hands down the winner for most of the stash. I second the small fan and charcoal filter in a small space/tent suggestion.

I don’t smoke so often so it will last me at least another year hah. It is however dry! But there are more years and more harvests coming. This year I will try cobs. Looks super interesting!I never pass up an opportunity to promote cobs and cobbing!
Although in this case cobbing is an ideal solution.
I've just re read the opening post and noticed the date is January! I reckon it's been well dried by now and probably smoked as well!
You could order ethanol from german liquor shops online.Food grade high proof ethanol is not legal here I’m afraid. Max we have is 80% rum. So here people go with ISO.
really? Might have to give it a goYou could order ethanol from german liquor shops online.
And thank you for the input brother! That or buy/build a still? Not for the casual passerby, but a definite option if you need it all the time and have the time/skills. The alcohol wash to distill is sugar, water, yeast (yes, common bread yeast works fine) and time.
Iso is definitely not good...
Congrats on the successes and thanks for sharing.
Just a search for alkohol 96% vol should give results on any search engine, if not then try look at german pages only.really? Might have to give it a go
Im on it!Jump on the malawi cob curing thread if your ready for something serious, its the best thread here.
did consider this and on a local forum someone claimes you could put buds in panty hose and then tie them like sausages (so like 2 inches of bud has no connection to the next sausage) and hang them high in trees. He did this and came back 3 weeks later to a pretty decent dry. Never tried so cant say anything about it rly other than it sounds interesting.Back in my teens and yes hiding from mom and dad lol, I would hang it in the bush in partial shade under clear plastic with the bottom open and the top cut off so that it wouldn't seam up in the sun. I would hang a second plastic canopy about a foot over it to keep rain or dew out. Depending on the weather it would dry out nice with a bit of a cure in about a week ready to bag or jar
is that the same thing you use for making beef jerky? I´ve been wondering about those and if these dehydrators are good for curing/drying weed .2. Used a herb dryer (like the thing you dry mushrooms with
Yes, you can use them for that.is that the same thing you use for making beef jerky?
No. They are just fans blowing hot air. Dries it too quick and evaporates a lot if not most of the aroma off the buds while doing that. Maybe on a really low temperature but then do you gain much either..I´ve been wondering about those and if these dehydrators are good for curing/drying weed .
