....if you don't have a hot plate or are afraid of double boiling with any heating element....you can always just boil the water, turn off the stove, then put your plate on top as shown...boil two pots so when the first cools down just move the plate to the hot one....just hot water, no chance of fire...i use a hot plate but have done it this way and it evaporates pretty quick

ISO extracts really do taste like industrial waste though, don't you think? Carbon scrubbing and water separation makes little difference. Purged with heat and cold till its almost hard, it still tastes like a refinery. There is something nasty that just refuses to leave. Find some ethanol instead if you can. It actually has no smell or taste, and is still a wash and evaporate procedure. Just don't salt it. Ethanol takes on salt.
