What's the best carbon scrubber? I want to try to eliminate all smells.
Best light for a 2x4 or 4x4?

Two tents work best for me. I wish they were 4x4 but I can have one in flower while growing clones in the other in veg so I like that. Not as much waiting between grows either. I love both lights. My temps are high here so I like the fact they put out very little heat
I just replaced mine after three years. I got this one after asking all my friends here…

That would mean bar/strip light if leds and either some extra heating or using a bulb like light. While 85F inlet seems excessive you do want to at least be able to bring your growspace up to 81F with high intensity leds.
If this is you just starting out id rec you to start with a 4x2 and CMH on a batwing reflector. Its the ultimate easygrow light source. A 315 may be a bit light on power but you cna always add a couple of led strips or cobs on the sides. Once youve got a bit more hang of things then get a bigger tent and leave the 4x2 for veg.
Do not a get an expensive super light until you figured out how to master the environment in your grow space. A Diablo with 65F temps is not going to work well no matter how much it cost you.

It would be going in a cold basement in a 2x4 tent. I'd say it's around 40 degrees in the winter and maybe 60 in the summer.
CMH with batwing reflector, oriented across the 2' side for spread, with some type of led support on the sides. Easiest light to grow with and should help a lot with the cold. Or just led with some extra heating in the tent.
Extract from the bottom and air in on top if still with cold problems. Or even build a box or something, something you can insulate somewhat. Hope it helps
Edit: actually its very hard to give very definite advice. Led + cold is not a good idea. The work arounds is adding heat. You can add heat thru some kinda heater but generally i feel that bulbs, hps or cmh or even incandescents, are heaters that also give off light. Your probably going to have to tweak this a little and develop it as you go along. Fairly clear to me that your summer and winter will look a bit different.
But id still say, CMH is probably the easiest light to grow with.

I run 315 cmh with 250-watt equivalent wet-rated flood-style outdoor LEDs in the corners (mounted on custom-made welded aluminum brackets) of three 4'x4'x6.5-7' boxes, and same-same in a 3.5'x3.5'x7-ish' tall box on heavy casters (ran out of room so the fourth box had to be mobile).
No complaints.
I also use the Sun Systems hoods, rather than the Hydro Farm hoods, as the SS hoods have a wider/less steep angle on the sides of the hoods, making for a slightly larger footprint for the light than the Hydro Farm hoods.

Built our own custom-made air box for the scrubber, using 6" and 8" ducting to either side of the box, that takes a pleated 24"x12"x2" MERV 8 pre-filter and same size (24"x12"x2") 100% fill activated carbon panel I order in.
Air vented into the shop at the far corner from the scrubber, and air ducted out through the custom air box with filters in it, through a wall near an HRV exhaust duct in another room altogether..
