Not trying to sound like a noob here but i am generally a soil grower who is interested in swapping to hydro soon. Is the water flowing in through the bottom of pots or in through that black hosing?

although there is a fill and drain fitting i do not use the fill because the fittings are right next to each other and i want water coming into the table as far away as possible from the drain

I was just wondering if you are using any kind of air stones in the tray and are there any problems with slime building up in there. oh and last time I checked 3x3 was bigger than 2x4 at least in sq/ft, not trying to sound like an ass just noticed it.

and yea i use three 24 inch airstones and the run only when the pump is on and no i haven't had any slime

although i plan to cover the tray with panda to avoid algae growth
