i want that mango so bad-just not with the price tag associated with those beans, and for the record, i bet they are worth every penny of the asking price

Seems like there is no landrace strains in East Coast but there are couple of special bred herbs just like California that cannot be found anywhere else.

There are lots of good herbs in Upstate New York.... Lemon Skunk for instance from Syracuse area. Lots of beasters and alright outdoor grown herbs around. There are some really good priced buds to go around during harvest time of course.

For New York City.... they have haze of course. It does make you stoned yes but the smoke is really harsh. Some people there smoke their blunts with backwood blunt paper. There is chocolate. Now that's a strain that I really miss. I believe it came from Thailand thru NYC. It was kinda of flat and brown. The smoke was kinda of thick and really white. It had a smooth sweet fragance. You got madd stoned from it like gravity pulling you down. I was not able to move my arms for a hour and half because it felt so good. *It could have been laced with Opium*

In Philly, they sell fat nicks...$5 that can fit a blunt good from the barber shops. I believe that they are from skunk background because they call it skunk sometimes. Philly is not a friendly place to get herb. If you know the connection... it can be very well priced.

There are couple of buds that are imported from Jamaica... they usually go to Washington DC and Philly sometimes New York City. There are excellent buds to be found in Washington DC *pretty hard*. There are some double A grade buds. I assume that stellar buds are grown in different area of the country sent to NOVA and UMD region.

For Canada, there are shitload of high quality cannabis for cheap with strains from reputable seed banks in Ontario and Quebec. Almost always AA and AAA buds to be found.

Vermont does have some excellent tasty stony herbs. Not easy to find. I believe that the growers there mostly get their seeds from the internet and Quebec. Excellent place to get in synch with environment.

Not sure about Maine and NH... I would classify them almost same as Vermont. Mostly chill people who are just good people.

There are couple of good herbs in Mass. Mostly local grown... there are some excellent AA buds to be found there. I don't visit Mass that much at all. Just had people coming from there.

Overall.. this is mostly about Northeast Region. There are buds from all around the world due to globalism and local grown buds that can vary from shit to AAA that would make you hallucinate. It is not easy at all to score some herbs in east. I thank the ganja gods that I live in California where cannabis is tolerated. :smoke:

The best I ever came across in East that I've not seen anywhere else is Orange Haze. All orange hair no stem inside. It made me green out after a hour :bashhead:

Bet you that there r so many excellent herbs out there in Kentucky, North Carolina and Florida that I've not try yet. Can't wait until the laws are changed then I can guarantee you that East will come up with lots of flavorful strains that California has not seen yet.

Boone County NC has had a skunk weed for as long as I can remember ... Purple McNasty is a WV bred strain that has existed for a decade or better ... I used to drive Many hours to Georgia for their swamp weed (grown in suspended buckets ... ) Crazy Blue Moon Mission is my cross ... Bluetooth and the "suns sours" (Plural because there are a few others from that gene pool besides stinky le pew circulating as well) are a friends work ... all of them have made the rounds amongst a medium sized group of friends from all over the planet ... all of them stack up against or straight out Mack the supposed Elites ... Maybe I missed the point of this thread? And WTF is Forest babbling on about ??? Sounds like he's the Worlds Best Customer ... Whatever ... give the weed a cool name put Haze in there and regardless of the quality ... people will buy it ...

I love the skunk out of boone. I have a few friends who live in blowing rock that somehow manage to pull some of the dankest, skunkiest sativa dominant strains outdoors before the first frost and good god do i love to visit the blue ridge every fall. There are also a lot of killer stains being grown indoors there that have no name but have been passed along for many generations.

of course then theres the NL and other seed bank strains that people get for their grow shows. I have a friend in washington NC that grows a pure sativa Thai x Michoacan mexican that turns his outdoor plot into a christmas tree farm.

there is a lot of killer bud in NC, usually very easy to find. I have a feeling that we'll see med. marijuana here soon. i know many will disagree with me but the newspaper articles i've been reading indicate to me that people are coming to the realization it will all be ok, and that we wont all burn in hell for allowing people to legally use our medicine.

boone, NC used to have one of the country best growers-i got to sample his blue moonshine and afghani, both organically grown and both were superb-this was in 2003
i still remember that blue moonshine

When the east finally shines it's going to bring a lot of elite stuff out of hiding. From what I've seen in southern appalachia california really has nothing on us except legality and a headstart. We'll take the scene just like we did with rap.

Vermont has DANK but like someone said you have to be in the "loop" Lots of old hippys in the N.E. kingdom.

Many landrace afgan/hashplant crosses from the early 70s (all grown outdoor and finishing before mid sep.)
jerry berry started hear, also strawberry fields...

Very true about having to be in "the loop" in VT. Been up there for 3 years and I've heard of and seen some insane headies from locals, mostly old timers at the bar..but they won't share, except for maybe a joint. I'm real close to eastern NY and theres also some bomb nugs grown in the country surrounding albany...again they keep it within their own circle.:wallbash:

The northeast kingdom is a whole 'nother thing. They dont even have town names up there! it's all "sector 7-b" etc. Kind of like northern maine. The gas station i drove by ( the "town" consisted of a gas station and fire dpt.) everybody had 4-wheelers filling up...no cars. I won't even get into the wrong turn we took and ended up 2 miles out at the wrong house...which had 4 very angry looking country boys with shotty's out on their 4 wheelers...hah
