I recall having seen those who were behind the coup in the early thirties described as our best and brightest.
I never cared for that description, but I do believe it was accurate.
they might have been smart, but...our "best" ? i don't think so. :shucks:

What a gift trump was to the democrats. They can literally get away with anything now by utilising the “we’re not the other guy” argument and their dimwit followers lap it up like good propagandists.

So called liberals celebrating war, genocide, and the slow and deliberate killing of a man exposing all their crimes. What a sad ass world we live in now…

Yep.

The consequences of negative relativism, and the lowest common denominator for each party for posing the least threat to the Oligarchy.

Each passing year and election cycle produces candidates of even lower caliber and class or integrity that leaves the non-partisan thinking public saying in bewilderment and disgust, "REALLY??!! THIS IS WHAT YOU'VE GOT TO PUT UP AS AMERICA'S 'BEST AND THE BRIGHTEST'??!!

Like a toilet bowl swirling to the septic tank, the political dynamics in this Nation stink.

Partisanism and its jersey-wearing groupies will have us committing even more war crimes and crimes against humanity in no time flat.

It's insane but the current administration literally thinks the solution to life problems are to end it. They also think the solution to a subjective state of gender disphoria, is an objective state of gender disphoria. We are selling the cure for mental illness, just become mentally ill. The cure to fascism, become a fascist... It's like the cure for cancer being to give everyone cancer. When the doctors, psychiatrist, and psychologist are the actual psychos, the possibilities are endless. They're literally propagating a mental illness and subjective state of disphoria and attempting to cement it as an objective state of gender disphoria. We've never cured a disease by propagating it. It's lunacy, really no other words for it. All aboard the Joseph Bidet express, we're flushing this economy down the abyss.

According to the activist group 'Defending Rights & Dissent' (formerly Nancy Talanian's Bill of Rights Defense Committee) Julian Assange has won a right to a partial appeal.

Very much hope that is the case, Closing paragraph of Hedges most recent content:

The goals in this Dickensian nightmare remain unchanged. Erase Julian from the public consciousness. Demonize him. Criminalize those who expose government crimes. Use Julian’s slow motion crucifixion to warn journalists that no matter their nationality, no matter where they live, they can be kidnapped and extradited to the U.S. Drag out the judicial lynching for years until Julian, already in a precarious physical and mental condition, disintegrates.
This ruling, like all of the rulings in this case, is not about justice. It is about vengeance.

Can't help but think we shall see more of Tucker as others are taken away...

Can't help but think we shall see more of Tucker in such capacity.
Yep, these are just some of laws the Oligarchists wished to have and now have tried to manipulate for a long while, much like the USA PATRIOT ACT. And now we have the Lilliputian People gullible enough to rubberstamp it in the name of the boogeyman under the bed with the dust bunnies and a very twisted form of allegiance to some literalist toxic nationalism.

Sounds like another reading comprehension problem. That's somewhat common these days when folks are fixed into illogical positions as partisan followers.

Not expecting them to do more run it through the mill, so they can later claim
he was offered every possible avenue of recourse...

There's some discourse re. potential political costs (previously unforeseen?) for Biden to continue to pursue this, and also highlighting the DoJ's past insistence in the prosecution, even when administrations seemed to have little interest.
