Purple Kush and Blueberry

the PK from the greenplace looked exactly like the PK ive seen in the centerfold of hightimes,,,,it looks like a skunk cross to me,,but i could be wrong
,,,,,,,,i would have never have guessed its an SDIBL,,,,,looks nothin like SDIBL imo!!
imo,,,,,,nothing is kushy in Amsterdam,,,,an i search for days,,,the best ive seen is the 420kush at the 420cafe,,,,,,,,my bag of "Nogs Kush" takes the p1ss outof all of the kush available in Amaterdam at the min!!!,,,,,,,,its not even worth flying over to hunt for a few days,,,,the bubba and chemdog at the greenhouse aint even upto scratch,,,,,,i dont know what GHouse is doing wrong but there weed aint asgood as it could be an the clones seem genuine too,,,,,,,,

the propper cuts dont dont make it to the smaller coffeshops,,,,,,,,,an when they do someone allways decides they dont yeald enough,,, everyone in Amsterdam cries about the yeald on cheese,,,,,,,,they just dont want low yealders,,,,,,

SD? Sour Diesel? why would they call it Purple Kush especially as the 2 aren't anything like each other (at least to my knowledge anyway), how long as this been going on as well?
yeah we had a phase like that here too, the shops selling weed would just ask the grower for a name and they d want as many strains as possible, so very quickly the same strain started getting called many different names.
Nol told a similar story about the northern haze being sold in the shop, apparently it was sold to them by some guys from up north and it had a hazy look, hence northern haze lol.

sadly, lots of stuff is rebranded here it's not at all uncommon...
most often you'll see re-branded PP as "anything white"... others include the SSH that is most commonly sold as Amnesia
there's a shop near me thats lists some rather suspect stuff including "black label haze" (afaik black label is a seed co, they make a haze, it's nevs haze - I can't find any reference to this strain online or anywhere else) and also listed is "mr nice haze" (the only strain I'm aware of called "mr nice" is from sensi seeds which is g13/hashplant and indica) actually smells like straight amnesia (SSH) or could be one of the other hazes available from MNS that I'm not familiar with...they also list SSH on their menu... very confusing...lol

The purple kush I had at the green place about a year ago was nice and tasty and nothing close to SD. I don´t know, if it was the real PK, but it looked kushy and smelled quite unique.
The Blueberry I had at the noon some years ago was the worst thing you culd spend money on! Something was wrong with it and it gave us a nice headache! Their Blueberry Haze is supposed to be better quality (cost like 3-4 euro/gram more than standar BB), but I haven´t tried it.
As already said by other posters, always take a close look and smell at everything you want to buy and don´t get fooled by names.
If you want a nice blueberry taste check out the blue cheese at the green place or Barneys

ive had purple kush a few times from green place and its been purple kush not Sd. its not as strong as the PK ive had many times from cali and canada but its got the same taste and smell

amsterdamn is overrated all the good kush is right here in the bay area northern california...oakland oaksterdam IS THE NEW AMSTERDAM.

my boy said that in amsterdam most "kush" is what we would sell as mid grade indoors here in the bay area....looked similar to a hindu kush that went around recently, looks nice but smelll was no where near as strong as the lemon fuel funk that the OG packs....

Amsterdam is about the hash if you are used to smoking heavy hitting bud.
After the first day of my last trip I found a sixteen week cambodian sativa and cheese haze were the only buds worth putting in my hash joints. Too bad that cambodian sativa was nearly thirty bucks a gram. I can still taste those moroccan caramello cambodian and cheese haze joints. High flying!

Although I've never been to Cali myself but I've always believed that you guys have the best stuff in the world.
I had some PK from the green place just after this years cup finished. It was not bad but it wasn't a patch on some PK i've had before. At the time i put it down to it being dry as a bone.
First thing i noticed when i got there is that alot of shops are selling almost nothing but haze crosses. Kush wasn't easy to get.

I totally agree with u bro...I believe you guys are at the cutting edge of the cannabis scene and would love to see what cali has to offer....only problem is not being able to buy anything!! and since i have no family nor friends out there i dont see how the heck us foreigners would manage to find good medicinal erb....
^true...you would have to move here, and get your MMJ script. its not that hard...costs about 70-100 bucks and takes an hour or so at the doctors office. i know plenty of out of towners who came to cali for school and got their med cards while they studied here. if you cant get your script...theres dozens if not hundreds of marijuana listings on craigslist, you just wanna do a random meetup in a parking lot lol...but good selection on CL if you are desperate.
cali doesnt have the best herb in the world. we just have ALOT of herb. good herb can be grown anywhere i know guys in cali growing top notch strains but i also know guys on the east coast, colorado, seattle, who all grow pretty good stuff. ok maybe not seattle those guys are still on some commercial beasters hype...but the g-13 up there is real good!

Oh well looks like il be moving to cali next year for my last year of university!! LOL nah 4real tho...laws in the UK are fucked up big time with regards to cannabis, it is treated as a class B drug which carries consequences of up to 14 years in prison or an unlimited fine or both for the cultivation of even a few plants! I also agree with your statement about it all being down to the grower... this is absolutely true, however the special thing that you guys have over there is the freedom to grow without being paranoid that your door could get kicked off any minute...If things dont start changing soon then its inevitable that I'll be packing my things and heading off for either the states or holland.
