Greetings people & Love everyone !

On my first indoor grow I had an Orient Express which I dusted with some pollen from a Tajik Shirin Gol male. Got only a few seeds of this "Tajoe"which produced a nice plant, finishing in 7 to 8 weeks, but not much to brag about. I went eventually to throw in the last 3 beans I had for my latest grow session. hoping to be able to get seeds and do some further work on the cross afterward. To my surprise, two plants (a male & a female) didn't looked at all like the other Tajoe plants I had grown before. I then remembered that during my first indoor grow, when the seeds were produced, there also was a pure Uzbek daddy in the grow room, and obviously some of his pollen had made its way to one of the Orient Express' numerous love boxes.
And I'm sure glad it did ! Tajoe is gone, here comes Zoe !

This is only a F1 so it need further work, especially to thicken the buds and maybe shorten a bit the flowering time which is at 10-11 weeks. The resin production is quite high and in the last weeks of flowering in produces wonderfull fragrances of bubblegum & bananas. Very yummy !
It's drying now and I've sampled a bud this morning, my oh my...
This is not even a one-hit wonder, but a half a hit one ! Instantaneous ! The first half-puff I inhaled when lighting up the joint delivered a heavy load of terpenes too my lungs, taking me by surprise and bring me near to cough, in the same time, a heat wave spread to my head quickly, ears got warms & buzzing in a matter of second, eyes too and each puff was producing new lovely heatwaves all in the head. It reaches the body at some point bathing you in some kind of glow I would say, all spaced out & alert in the same way.
Taste is strong & mostly hash, with some citrus hints. Should do great after some curing.

A few pics of the lady one week before harvest, will shoot some macro of dried buds later

Very nice! Good resin production and nice structure!
I've always been interested in Uzbekistan genes but have been unable to locate pure.

Thanks everyone ! My, I really need to secure a second grow room & lamp for I really want to work on this one. Buds are curing in their glass pot and most of the bubblegum/banana scent is gone (sometimes comes as hints while smoking), and have been replaced by the most crazy perfume ! The first thing that comes to my mind when i stick my nose in the jar is a straight-out-of-the-oven cinnamoned apple-pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream melting on top of it eeeheeeeh. It's sweet, warm, thick & creamy, absolutely wonderfull !
Hash taste is still dominating, but fruity & pie-ish ones are slowly coming. Flavours remain strong til the very end of the joint and it hits me like a good northern Afghani hash. This babe is perfect for me !
I don't have the pics I promised yet, been too busy/lazy (eg. sampling the harvest eheh...), will do...

Irie !

Looking very interestig mriko! :)

Orient express produces easily great hybrids: high yielding, tasty terpenes, fast flowering and easy to grow. Uzbeki adds indica strenght, flower density and hashy-lemony aromas. Nice combo!

Hope you enjoy her! dubi
