Zamaldelica lineage question..

Hi, I was curious as to what the correct lineage is for the Zamaldelica. I have read it as Zamal x Malawi, and also Zamal x Golden Tiger. Multiple banks have it Zamal x Malawi. Thanks for your time. :tiphat:

Hi HerbScience,

Zamaldelica standard has been the same since it was released: Zamal mother x Malawi killer/Meo Thai male, and still remains the same. There's standard stock of the original outcross for at least 1-2 years more.

The feminized version has been modified with the new selections and work with the strain, Zamaldelica line still has a lot to offer and like with any other ace strain it's always our wish to try to improve the lines each time more. The first Zamaldelica feminized release was Zamal x Malawi killer (reversed), the next one and available now is Zamal x Golden Tiger early pheno (female from standard stock, reversed). Future feminized versions will be worked towards the best Zamaldelica mother, with lovely delicate mango aromas and the elevating trippy high i was looking for, will be mixed with the more lemony, better yielding and high quality thai koh chang/malawi killer line (new Golden Tiger fem line).

Does that mean the Meao Thai male is gone, finished??

Doesn't seem that way:

Hello HerbScience,

Zamaldelica it's a work in progress that i hope to improve with every new release, first zamaldelica feminized release was a straight zamal x malawi killer F1 hybrid and it worked very well.

For future Zamaldelica feminized releases i'd like to explore Zamal x Golden Tiger fem (Double Thai Koh Chang pheno/Malawi killer) and selected Zamaldelica mum x the same Golden Tiger fem line to make sure i'm breeding with the best lemony thai aromas and effects, the right malawi dose for strength and the zamal for the electric trippy effect and mango carrot aromas. I dont think the new Zamaldelica fem with more Koh Chang influence will be ready and tested before late 2014.

Zamaldelica standard is being inbred without any change of her original genotype: Zamal x Malawi killer/meo thai.

Hi bushweed, thanks for sharing the quote.

Unfortunatly, the meo thai male was lost so we won't be able to reproduce the Haze x Thais and Golden Tiger (Malawi/Thai) F1s with the same dad. It still can be done with Double Thai males (should produce much better outcome).

Anyway, the meo thai male already did his best and its hybrids have been inbred towards the more solid resinous phenos that can be grown indoors, the never ending wispy thai phenos were avoided so i will continue to work with the inbreeding lines rather than replicate the F1s again.

About Zamaldelica, the stock of the original Zamal x Malawi/Thai outcross is finished. At the moment I prefer to work with the Zamaldelica mums we have selected, inbred them and/or cross them with relatives rather than replicate the original outcross that was an unstabilized 3 way hybrid and therefore more variable.

We have produced so far.
In standard format: Zamaldelica (elite) x Malawi males, Zamal (Gerrit) x Malawi males and Zamaldelica inbred by itself.

In femininized format: Zamal Gerrit x Malawi killer reversed (first release, out of stock) , Zamal x early Golden Tiger std pheno reversed (stock recently available), and about to come: Malawi killer x Zamaldelica elite reversed and Zamaldelica standard line inbred in feminized format (reversing Zamaldelica elite and pollinating her best sisters from the same generation).

I haven't had the chance to explore Zamal or Zamaldelica x Golden Tiger fem (with higher Double Thai influence) yet, but i hope to make it possible when the elements are aligned :p
