Recreational and utilitarian models include:

* Demonstrators for use over one’s own property (M200D)
* Versions that operate within ground effect--approximately 10 feet AGL (M200G)
* Experimental or homebuilt variants (M200E)
* Rescue configuration capable of docking with skyscrapers (Firefly 3)

Looks pretty wild, although i'd like to see a demonstration of engine or some sort of computer failure. Chances of survival would probably be slim.

Would probably have been a good idea not to get the crane in the video shot....

Not saying this thing can't fly, I'm pretty sure it does, just doesn't help to thwart any would-be skeptics out there is all.

Personally I wouldn't want to see these come into everyday use. I really like my house and would have a difficult time explaining to my insurance company on how a drunk UFO driver knocked my chimney cap off.

crane looks more for "just incase" but you cant see it movin or anything, very crazy though!

one part you can see the cable to the crane which has a lot of slack so you knwo the cable isnt holding it up, or at least not the one you can see...

Aren't those just hover crafts? If so they've been around for awhile.

lol. yeah i've been watchin moller for a while. they're in serious R&D debt right now but they've got some sweet shit that's working. last i checked the stock was SHIT! i felt it was worth getting into if they could get FAA approval!

and yes their toys do fly. the "ufo" is limited to 10 feet due to FAA regulations but it can go higher with some tweaking! YES SIR. and a few years ago, they did a test in texas (or some dry desert area of a state) of another 2-seat (or 4-seat) model that was a success which made me want to invest even more. but, i'm broke!

but those 2 and 4 seat models takes off like a harrier jet. i wish i could see it in person. but i dream that maybe 10 years from now i'd have a house with a landing pad on top and one of those babies that i take to work like donald trump takes his helicopter! lol

EDIT
i just looked at that video thinkin it was a more recent model of their hovercraft. that video is OOOOOOOOLLLLLLDDDDDDDD!

Over 200 manned and unmanned flight demonstrations of its 2-passenger VTOL volantor (designated the M200X) have occurred since 1989.

the vehicle they have that i wanted is the m400 @ http://www.moller.com/m400.htm

do they really shoot away quickly though? in the video they looked rather unstable in the air...

Without giving away too much info I'll merely say this:

In my line of expertise, I've worked on a great variety of vehicles and "objects of motion"... A circle is a poor choice for stealthy, agile moves, but is a wise choice for deliberate observance type action.

Practicality, of the circular vehicle posted, for everyday or commuter use is unrealistic, however there's a company that makes something that resembles a tiny Leer jet/harrier which in my opinion is a much better design for such a craft.

Either way, I'm still concerned about my chimney cap and house. Drink and drive you miss the road, drink and fly..... gravity has been proven to work very efficiently for many years.... I kind of worry about this.

did you see the videos for it? the rescue video was funny and CHEESY as hell lol. i couldn't stop laughin. but seriously, i could see that happening. with DARPA funding various autonomous vehicles, it's just a matter of time. i say another 25 years at most!
