Okay, so let's hear what your planes are for tonight, or if it's already passed, what you did for New Years Eve; and to hell with those cliched 'resolutions' but maybe share your thoughts for what your own hopes may be in 2017, because 2016 really sucked the big one.


Okay, at least a few great things came out of 2016, Gypsy was freed, O & T were able to resolve their issues and come out of hiding, and Eddy Lepp made it out of club fed in one piece.

I love fireworks.......

Me & my K9 companion Suzi are spending the night here alone, but with all of you too!

When I get up in the morning I gotta head out back and clear the snow from the fire pit and benches and get it all ready for new years eve gathering we are having. I'm surprising my wife with a 21 day vacation to Dubrovnik for our 10 year anniversary.
I'm looking forward to 2017

Half of America doesn't know how to properly drink and drive so I usually stay home on "Rookie Night". lol. Snowy-Icy roads this year too.

both Halloween & NYE are amateur night on the roadways, and in that very regard, yet another short story.

Halloween night 1986, 5 of us bikers arrive @ a body shop where there's a big party, it's warm n' dry and so we ride there, all of us dressed as nuns. At 10:30pm my house mate turns to me & says "Hey Chef, whaddya say we get home before the roads get crazy, we had weed, beer & coke at home so off we went.

we pull out of the body shop driveway and 25 feet later we're side by side waiting @ a red light when suddenly WHAMMM!!! me & Marc get hit from behind by a Lincoln Continental.


we left a party of our friends, hot biker babes scantily clad, and for what? you can't ever be too careful. the party emptied when someone heard the crash & that drunk driver was surely in danger of being beaten to a pulp, the bro in a Conan costume had a real sword, I thought he was gonna use it.

that dude paid our claims up immediately, needless to say he was in fear of the collection agency.......


Up here in northern Minnesota the speed limits are 55mph on 95% of the roadways as it's 15-20 miles between podunk towns, all those miles are also undivided 2 lane blacktop, so if a drunk (or some texting fool) drifts their lane it can be a real serious problem.

New years eve here, fireworks going off, I went running, 86% humidity, took a while to cool down afterwards, even though my house thermometer says 26C it's the damn humidity that gets you.

I wish I lived in a cold climate.

Running Critical Mass at the moment, don't know how it will do in this bullshit humidity, although the grow room is usually 50% humidity, 60% after watering, due to the heat from the lights drying out the air.

Dogs hate all the fireworks, so we play it loud tonight. Lots of good music all night long.

A good friend will join in later.

At 12, I´ll be outside to se all the fireworks. I kind og love and hate it....lol.

got some country style boneless "ribs" cooking. my missus is such a party animal that she has not seen New Years Eve fireworks in over 12 years, LOL! that means it will be safe for me to step outside & burn one watching the sky light up & hope for the New Year to be better than how this one has ended. actually, it aint got much choice...
