The annual honor for 2006 went to each and every one of us, as Time cited the shift from institutions to individuals citizens of the new digital democracy, as the magazine put it. The winners this year were anyone using or creating content on the World Wide Web.

I feel so honored ...WTF

Something tells me that they didn't have us in mind....we'll not specificly, but I'm sure lots of you do more w/ the internet than post Cannabis porn and knowledge.

I think they're right on the spot irish, think about what the internet has done for democracy. Nowadays, you can just open a blog, and millions of viewers have (theoretically) access to what you say.
Most big online newspapers have forums where readers can comment on articles, and sometimes I read inputs that have more insight and are better formulated than the articles themselves.
And what would the Cannabis community be today without the pot forums?

No, this is direct democracy, for better and worse, it's the biggest thing since sliced bread.
