OGKB x (a5 haze x white OG) - just need to give her some legs so she acts right. Plants that are past 12wk as a bare minimum, probably produce some excellent flowers from her.
If I was in the seed making game, I'd want her around without question. She sits so far to one extreme, it makes trait isolation easier, even if you want to select AWAY from her.

im definitely downsizing the ogkb. most likely, gonna hit the trash. for now, though, she's still around. cant keep them all and this strain can definitely disappear in favor of something else id rather have.

picked up little bit o' gear: a) 8x24" filter & fan & speed control combo & b) far red initiator from rapidLED.
im using a 3x3 to start the flower cycle. its on 12/12 but im gonna cut back to 11/13.
this tent has a vert hung 400w hortilux "blue mh" bulb.
gonna use the far red starting right before lights out (for 15 minutes total time).

But the genes in that cross are nearly infinite in the terms of potential phenotypes.

If I'm not mistaken.
However, I still saw OGKB-type features on the one plant, enough to where I guessed very early on that it was going to be a cookie/haze type plant. It's seems like, it is going to take longer to flower as well. It's continuing to stretch at a faster rate and is slower to start forming flowers.
The more "sativa" looking plant, the plant which resembled more clearly the SSH mother, is looking like it will stop stretching sooner and it is forming larger flower clusters and has begun producing faster. Fair indication it will likely finish first.
Point being, OGKB is an odd plant, but tends to be trait specific and you can pinpoint those traits easily when it's bred with.

i feel you on the unique qualities of certain plants. id rather have a few other cuts. and, if i had to make space, ogkb hitting the fucking door.
for unique plants, i got my own thing going on. angelica. alien apple warp. blue steel. tropicanna cookies. desconocida kush. nl x bb.
got interesting phenos from my own work already. & cause they grow normally, unlike ogkb, much more my speed.

should be harvesting the auto dark purple very soon. been picking on them like a vulture & im not ever growing an auto again. 20% thc (advert by company) my ass. even for someone who hasnt smoked in ages, shit is like a morning snack. better than nada!
alien apple warps all look amazing. all 3 are getting transplanted into square smart pots today. ive got a favorite but i want to back up all three... one (the 4th female) is up-potted in a 2gal and gonna hit flower for an early look see. the keepers getting more veg time.
soon as the far red initiator shows it will be put into play. so far, rapidLED seems to be a great company. fast ship. they answer emails. the light cost me $40 with ship & got the 3x3 filled and waiting. the research shows far red (730nm) does knock some time off flower. it'll be great to see if the plants "go to sleep" quickly & start the flower process quickly. love to cut some time off flower this way. its genius.
the tent with gg4, angelica (2 phenos), & nl x bb is going bananas!!! stoked i kept the nl x bb as a cut. wait till you guys see this shit
the dehydrated coconut water got the plants praying to the great ganja god in the sky. the top dress is 100x better than using it in a bucket.
soon as the 4x3 shows, ill set it up & get it ready to take plants. cheese, white widow, alcatraz og, alien apple warp (all seed plants) gonna get a ticket to ride.

tropicana cookies on the rise. oni got the good germ rates. nice!
I actually didn't like the smell or flavor of bb3 so I selffed it and kept my favorite of 6 phenols. Then I crossed bb3 to my DMT stud and now I have a nice DMT leaning male with a bit more vigor than DMT that will meet with the bb3s1. I have stress tested her and she seams stable enough to move forward with so here we go
