My 400w fridge. Home to many a stargazer lillies.

Not quite finished, but well under way.



The holes you see in the side are for the intake/output of course. I have a 120cfm bath fan with a DIY carbon filter rigged to it. I'll post more pics later to show the complete setup.



Hadn't seen one on here before, or anywhere else for that matter, so I figured I'd share it with all of you.

what is the floor surface ?

If you're prone to paranoia, here's my tip, I guess most people may freak out at reading it:

first go towards pure indicas : afghani#1, kush, first lady, those wont get you paranoid.
second: why not pick a bud like twice a week (after it has flowered for like 40 days) and smoke it, so you get accustomed to the high gradually.If paranoia is a concern, it is more important than final yield or thc content imo.
third : let the buds get fully ripe, so you'll get an effect that doesn't induce paranoia.

fourth : growing mj, even if you don't smoke it, will induce a little paranoia ...right ? so I guess you choose what option is good for you

you may be paranoid, it doesn't mean noone is watching you

why not take it a step further an power it up for cold nights?

you should cooltube the lamp and buy an inline BLOWER. 120cfm aint enough to push air thru activated carbon. maybe you are usin a carbon PAD, but that is not a real scrubber and will only work for so long...either way, best of luck mate

Lurker - It's about 20" x 20" and I'll have about 2 1/2' of vertical space - Thanks for the tips on the paranoia bit

Ethereal - Yeah, that's kinda where I got the idea. I already gutted out the refrigeration parts - took up way to much space. It's a small fridge. Yes, I am using a DIY pad that I strap over top of the square fan, it will be right next to the bulb, so hopefully it will draw enough air to keep it cool. Going to do a test run with it to see how the temps will be. If nothing else, yeah, I'll get an inline and DIY a cool tube for it. I just like having every thing in the fridge to insulate the sound a bit. Don't have the cash for a nice quiet vortex.

I used to see refrig conversions years ago in HT. I always thought of it but liked the full room effect better or walk-in closet. Let my wife have all the closet space left and throw my cloths on the floor. LOL

I have to agree with you about the walk in. To be able to have that right now is going to be impossible. Have to work into that. New to the neighborhood and all. I plan to have a 4 x 8 space going next year. We'll see how it goes.

like the idea. I was gonna grow in this 3' tall 1'X1" mini fridge but i got paranoid about cutting the wrong lines on the compressor that was partially broken bc of the freon
