.....you pay all the fees they request, in order to grow medically with a med card, so you aren't deemed a criminal, and then they change the regulation on useable material, and criminalize you, anyway
Chickens can be tough. I've watched them peck a garter snake to death. Thing didnt have a chance.

btw, I'd LOVE!!! to be next to her on the firing line when a hot shell finds its way into that shirt
You're so old you will probably forget about it by tomorrow!Sorry 'bout the long post, been one helluva day.
okay, got through the -27F crap around 4am, @ 8:00 this morning I started my very reluctant Buick, and 1/2 hour later instead of just warming it up I decided to make a fast grocery run, it was -21 when I left the house but surprisingly the temp began to rise quickly.
~~~ my troubles begin ~~~
my first blunder was to leave my home so quickly, I was wearing a pair of sweats, 2 t-shirts, a zippered hoodie, and a pair of sneakers, after having started the car 1/2 hour before I was only stepping outside to shut it off when I decided to go to town; I was in dire need of some 1/2 n' 1/2 for my coffee, also needed regular milk, veggies & eggs, the car was warm, the day was frigid, I planned on one stop only so I bolted.
on the ride to town (10 miles) my 'Check Tire Pressures' light came on, this Buick is a '99 with very low miles, but unfortunately aluminum rims degrade over time, not miles and so the bead has imperfections and slow leaks develop. Yes my tire guy has removed the tires, and he's worked the rims with a wire brush on his hand grinder to smooth out those bad spots, then mounts the tires applying plenty of the adhesive goop they use to seal the bead, but they leak. Currently 2 tires have rim issues, the other 2 tires/rims already have tubes in them to remedy the problem, I'll be doing this very soon to the others.
But BOTH air compressors in town were out of service due to the cold, my tires needed air pronto. If I drove east the next air would be about 40 miles away (and perhaps out of service) so I hit the grocery store and went west past my home by 14 miles to the actual tire shop I normally use, I knew Jake would be on duty. I pulled up to the air hose and he jumped right outside & aired me up all the way around, as usual I gave Jake a couple of bucks, he likes that as most folk up here are frugal, when I have real work for them Jake or Larry will get 5-10 bucks from me, whenever I pull in for any kind of service they take me right away, meaning out of turn.
btw, that makes a total of 48 miles, 20 round trip to town, actually going past my place by another 14 miles to hit the tire shop, & 14 miles back home. But in all of this I found issues with shopping for my small grocery list.
Now the grocery dilemma.
When I got to the only grocery store in town I found their dairy section closed, the refrigeration died during the night and so no dairy products could be sold, I settled for no milk & a quart of Bailey's flavored creamer along w/the rest of my list. No milk & no air in town, I struck out for that tire shop, there would be another grocery store along the way.
So 2 stops and a 20 mile round trip,
turns into 5 stops & 48 miles instead:
Grocery store
C-store ~ no air
C-store #2 ~ no air
Tire shop
Grocery #2
What should have been 20 miles & 45minutes turned into 48 miles total and 1hour 45minutes, it started as a 1 stop trip but changed to 2 when the tire warning light came on, all the while I'm dressed like it's a cool fall evening, and that's really a fools move, you're supposed to dress for the weather, not for the drive.
in any decent sized city I would've found working air & been home in good time, but no. Welcome to the country.
And hey! I'm not even going to tell you how I locked myself in my home by accident, needing to call a friend to extricate me @ 5:45am today.
oh yeah, all this shit & today's my 60th birthday
60 years old.. happy birthday.. buick.. aluminum rims, low mileage.. temps=minus too damned cold. did you just finish the bong before you went out there?? atta boy..Sorry 'bout the long post, been one helluva day.
