Yoghurts + Bud

Is there any way to make yoghurts with bud, is there any processing i could do to recreate the joys i used to have as a youth with resin and the dairy evil itself lol, i cant nor do i want to source resin, but i would like a yoghurt

any ideas of a good way to do this???
 
i want to make a yoghurt and bud mix, instead of yoghurt and resin coz i cant source it but dont really want to just dry bud and sprinkle it in dont think it would be very nice isn'tt there a nice way i could add buds to a yoghurt??? no

now yogurt is some relatively low fat stuff to begin with this is bad because THC is a lipid and bonds to fat and breaks down in alcohol as well. yogurt is not alcoholic so were out there and has very little fat in the yogurt so while u could through certain processes extract some THC with that fat is not gonna be able to hold to much of it. Professional opinion theres better edible like cannabutter that could be made with much greater efficiency then canna yogurt so you may be able to first make some cannabutter then just let it get soft and whip some up with a whisk and yougurt. let chill in the fridge and when its cold give it a try

From UK420 - I've not tried this personally but plenty have:-

You will need:

Enough hash or bud for a couple of spliffs.
One yogurt of your choice ( Muller Light seems to work best)
Vegetable or olive oil
A large spoon
A lighter
A very comfy chair ;)

Method:

Crumble the hash/bud into your large spoon.
Cover with oil
Gently heat the underside of the spoon for a few minutes, taking care not to boil the oil .

Stir into your yogurt and eat.

Do not underestimate the effects of this one !!
I once ate three on the trot, and the regretted it :puke:

Not sure if this bit is true, but I was told that the THC reacts with certain enzymes in the yogurt that produce the trippy effect.

The whole heating of the spoon with a lighter would really make me feel like a heroin junkie, but honestly, if anyone here on this site who has large amounts of bud to play with, could verify the effectiveness of this method, I would certainly be the second person in line to experiment and report the effects, or lack thereof.

I just don't want to be the guy who says "Tried it....was a waste of weed." But obviously there's some here who swim in pools of bud and can afford to have some fun.

I'll be keeping checking back on this thread to see if anyone is more brave than Mr.Botanical.

You can always heat the spoon over the gas/electric ring on a cooker instead, I know what you mean about the "junkie" aspect - some people have commented that that you need two spoons if your using a lighter so you have a clean spoon for the mixing in other wise you end up with sooty Yoghurt.

You only need enough for a couple of joints so it's not so heavy on the purse or the stash jar. I have heard of plenty of people getting so trippy stoned that they didn't enjoy it so much so be careful.

Yah they had a whole thread about hash yogurts on uk420 and the consensus was basically that it doesn't work with bud. I can speak from first hand experience and say that a 0.2g of some nice bubble hash got me WRECKED for 5-6 hours. I used a 8% M.F. yogurt which is pretty high and I think it has to be an active yogurt as well. Next up I'm going to make hash yogurts with some budder :muahaha:

To make "bud yogurt" just boil a pint of milk with lots of crushed herb,
mix it well and boil for 5-10 minutes, if you like you can add a little cinnamon, cardamom, honey etc.
I use full fat dairy, preferably from pasture fed/organic cows.

Next strain the herb milk into a pint glass, so you are left with green milk.
This is basically "crude" bhang, you can drink it at this point and it will be powerful - be careful.

Make sure everything is clean for making yogurt!

Now let it cool so it is still warm, and add 2-4 big tablespoons of plain full fat yogurt (Greek yogurt works well) mix it in well, cover with a saucer,
and leave in a warm, dark place for 12 - 24 hours.

When it is set you can put it in the fridge and it should keep for around a week at least.
At first it will taste more sweet and creamy like milk but it will get more sour every day.
