tomorrow i am brewing up some ayahuasca. this is the first time i will have ever drank aya.

i cant even begin to describe how excited i am, ive had the materials for a week, and havent had the time to brew some up because of work and being a dumbass -eating cheese/ tyramine containing food. ive been looking forward to this ever since i learned of the medicine.

you know when your really tripping sac and inside you feel so at peace and with the world, you wish it could always be like that? the last time i tripped was about a month ago and that was acid. that feeling is one that i always look forward to.

i always had the thought "damn, dmt is so freaking obscure, will i ever experience it?" and right now i have a stash for like 15 trips!

i long to have that feeling of being a kid again have that thought pop into my head once again- " all this bullcrap that i worry about everyday isnt even real, its all human inventions. the only real thing is living and loving."

i plan on dancing my nuts off listening to ma new phish show.

That sounds sweet. I am very interested is doing Aya. I need to grow some. I heard you could get some online. I did mushrooms a week ago and that was a great experience.

I assume you're talking about DMT and not 5-MEO-DMT.

To be honest I wouldn't count on doing much dancing...I've heard ayahuasca can be very profound and intense. Be ready to meet your maker...literally.

I have yet to try DMT. I'm going to be doing an extraction in the near future.
I can't wair to see what it's all about...I've only done salvia and mushrooms so far and DMT has me very intrigued.

homer j- i didnt grow any plants, and there are no seeds in ayahuasca. you cant buy ayahuasca, technically it is illegal, as it contains dmt. the courts (usa) just ruled in favor of religious use, which is my reason for drinking it. when i say ayahuasca, i am referring to the brewed tea, which has 2 base ingredients. ayahuasca also refers to the plant banisteriopsis caapi, which is 1 ingredient in the tea. you can buy the ingredients on the internet very easily , i sent a money order out and the package was on my doorstep 5 days later. although i havent drank any yet, i can say with confidence that mushrooms are a totally different teacher than aya. some boomers i have ate give me great moving, right-in-front of-my-eyes visuals, others are more of a body type high. aya is pretty much guaranteed to give you intense, different world, swirling mandalas and aliens everywhere kinds of visuals. if you plan on drinking any, i STRONGLY suggest you research it as much as you can. it is not a toy, and if someone is only looking for pretty colors and such, it might teach them a lesson or two.

gangabiss- yes i am referring to dmt, although some ayahuasca tea's can contain 5-meo depending on what plants you use to brew it. my particular brew will not have 5-meo. and believe me, i need no warning of what it can do. i accept that i might be dragged into the depths of hell if thats what she has in store for me, but i believe if that is what she is preparing for me, i will learn something and come out of it a better person. you are right, dancing will probably be pretty hard, but i will try. i will say that i truly have never felt more bliss, love and ecstasy than while tripping and listening to phish. they make me hopeful for the world. have you ever had tears of joy running down your cheeks? i mean true tears of joy? the kind of feeling like you could hug your absolute worst enemy and sincerly wish them happiness? if not you are missing out

if you like mushrooms, definetly try to get some lsd, you will love it.

Have I ever had true tears of joy running down my cheeks? You bet I have. Tripping for me is the ultimate humbling experience where I can literally touch the depths of my soul and be one with creation.
In fact my very first psychedelic experience (psilocybin mushrooms) was so profound and moving that it changed my whole outlook on life and I've never been the same since. You might call it a mystical experience. It was as if God shone through every atom in my body and filled me with pure bliss and euphoria.

There is almsot no chance of me finding any (good) lsd around here though. I've pretty much given up hope of ever trying it. Although it does sound very interesting to me.

The only other thing I'm really looking forward to trying is pure DMT extract in crystaline form. It sounds like the ultimate experience from all that I have read/heard.
I want to see those self-transforming machine elves.

funny enough, i too kinda felt like i would never try acid. last month was my first time with it. my buddy gave me 1 tab for driving him around, plain white, no picture. i wasnt expecting much and down the hatch it went at like 3 am ,no sleep all night. it took an hour and a half for it to hit me even with no food in me. as soon as it dawned on me that i was tripping, i had this thought, "holycrap, i have lsd in me! and i thought i would never try it!" one visual i remember pretty clearly is looking down at my hands with palms up and fingers stretched out, and on each of my fingertips there was an eyeball with eyelashes looking up at me. there were also ocean like waves constantly crossing my computer screen. i was just sitting in my seat,and at the same timeit was like a roller coaster. i was literally sitting in my seat going "Whheeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

so dont give your hopes up, if you try hard enough, it will happen

yes not many people have heard of ayahuasca, and probably just as few or fewer have heard of dmt. maybe you read this in the link to wikipedia or maybe not, but dmt is in your brain right now. its in different plants all around the world and in all animals brains. or that might be all mammals brains, i forget.

yup, ayahuasca.com forums are great place to learn and inform oneself about Ayahuasca.
There're quite abunch of website selling the dried plants to prepare the brew (a few sell vine cuttings for growing), started in the late 90s.

In Brasil (and other countries where they are established) some synchretic churches such as Santo Daime or Unaio do Vegetal use the brew asa sacrament during their rituals.

Heheh, I have to admit I hardly imagine someone dancing on Ayahuasca, doesn't really fit. Especially considering that it can impair balance. For Ayahuasca, best is to listen icaros, and sit quietly in total darkness. Keep an empty bucket at hand !

And Ayahuasca is really something very very special, much beyond the "trip", much closer to a journey !

i recommend avoiding public places while on ayahuasca as it has a tendency of making you hurl shortly after consuming it...

drinking isn't hard, but keeping it down is... foul tasting stuff it is...

if i had to compare it to another drug i would say that it's fairly similar to lsd... what with them both being tryptamines and whatnot...

Ever since I've read about ayahuasca, I've been dieing to do it. I did mornign glory seeds last year, it was very nice but somehow it fucked me up afterwards, since that I thought that I wasn't ready for anything yet, but slowly I'm starting to feel the vibes are coming back.

Well actally there can be seeds in ayahuasca.

You can use the seeds from Perganum Harmala as the MAO inhibitor.

ganjabiss- yes you are right, but if you want to get technical, if your brew doesnt have caapi in it,it isnt ayahuasca. i believe it is referred to as anahuasca.

true ayahuasca has caapi as the maoi, indigenous people (and I) believe that the vine has sentient knowledge, and is a powerful teacher. i consider rue less desirable and have read people say that it is a more harsh teacher, whereas people consider caapi as more of a kind/ loving entity.
