Ratatat is amazing. I like a lot of different types of music, but these guys are exceptional to me. I do use Pandora and last.fm, but I haven't been able to find many artists like them, and I'm admittedly not much of a music buff.
I invest in quality hardware, try to download the best formats, and generally _care_ about what I listen to. I listen to different artists and styles to discover new music, but I'm not knowledgeable on specific properties and styles of music.
That being said, I'm looking for recommendations on artists "like" them. I find that this music helps when reading or programming (code) and makes good background and foreground music.
If you like rap I suggest listening to their remixes albums (vol 1 and 2).
