Yet another Flora Nova feeding schedule question

Hello fellow IC'ers. Before someone starts throwing the hate at me. I have read quite a bit on here about the FN nutes. What I have not read much on is how often you feed them before a straight water flush. I just switched over from the Fox Farm system, while I used them it was one feeding then one water flush. According to the FN brochure, I am supposed to do a straight water flush after 3 feedings. Does this sound right? I just gave my plants in flower thier second feeding of 3/4 tsp of bloom tonight. BTW I am using a soilless mix and tap water. I check the PH but do not have a PPM meter. I have a few plants at about 4 weeks into 12/12 that I am using the bloom on and a few in veg that I am using the grow on. Any suggestions?

use fnb+kool bloom.

have ph+ppm meter, but no need to use them w/ fnb, unless want to change ph +/- 6.0-6.2.

in this imaginary garden, simply pour ~capful of fnb/kb per gallon; roughly every 2-3 waterings.
hand watering coco, so they do not get fertilizer every watering. they will drink far more water than assimilate nutes in a day or so.
really no need to mini-flush weekly w/ flora nova. only flush comes @ ~10-14 days left. the they only get h202 in water+foliar. last 3-4 days no water, to dry out.

if desire to flush w/ water after 3 feedings, can do that as well. salts will have accumulated in the medium by 3 feedings, so can get lot of them out. depends on preference of growing, really.

best way to do it is to flush 1 plant, dont mini-flush another, and measure results @ harvest.

Thanks for the great info. I did not get any of the other additives to go with the Grow or Bloom. I guess I will have to pick up a bottle of the Kool Bloom. I'm never really sure if all these products are really worth the extra $$ or not. I have used Molasses (2 tsp/gal) since put into 12/12. Should I cut out the molasses when using the KB?

hey oregon i just switched from fn to ff and i like the ff, why did you make the switch ,and to answer your question i straight flushed every 2 weeks when i did res change i would just flood for 3 hours straight but this is differant in soil i beleive its 3 weeks with a flushing system but dbl check that not positive

i used to get down with the GH nova line. used it is promix with a bit more perlite. added koolbloom liquid and powder, floralicious plus, and flora nectar. i used the "drain to waste expert"feeding schedule on the GH website and had great results. just make sure the nova gets shaken or stirred well or you'll get a few deficiencies. i usually flush about 10-14 days until chop chop

afgooey, I do not have a valid reason for switching to FN over FF other than wanting to try out something different. I had pretty good results with the FF 3 bottle nute system.

flamingheat, Yea I picked up the Koolbloom and will probably start using the other 2 additives as well. Your right, that stuff is super thick. I have been shaking the bottles for a good 5 minutes the last couple of times I used it. I will be starting the final flush in a couple of my plants this weekend. I like to get in 2-3 good straight water flushes before the chop.

this is the method used in this garden, per gallon of tap water, during bloom:

1 cap full of flora nova bloom
1 cap full of floralicious
1 cap full of kool bloom
1 cap full of mag-i-cal
1 cap full of liquid humic acid
1/4 cap full of pro-tekt
1 teaspoon of molasses
1 cap full of hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cap full of iodine

no ph meters, of tds/ec meters needed, but comes out to ~6.0-6.2 ph, ~1000 ppm.

then... take 1 cap full of the above mix, dilute w/ water in 1 liter spray bottle, and foliar feed weekly, ph adjusted to 6.8-8.0.

@~ 14 days remaining switch to 8/16 light cycle, only water+foliar w/ h202 until 3 days left, then no water for last 3-5 days.

have run this regime couple times...

Why not just feed @ 600 to 900 ppm and call it a day?
