yellowing

I have ten seedlings about a week old now. All leaves on the plants are turning completely yellow and I'm not sure what it is. No nutrients are being fed yet so wouldn't be a nutrient problem, and I've used the same soil mix for years. So my question is this. I recently built a new cabinet, and I sealed it with caulking to ensure no light leak. With the room getting up to 80-82 degrees F, would this possibly release a gas or something that would cause these to yellow? I've never had the problem before and the only difference in my new cab is the caulking. Anybody have some thoughts?

Nonsense!! Week old plants don't need to be fed. He's already said he's used the same soil before.... he knows nutes aren't the issue.

If you sealed it light tight, did that make it "airtight" as well? You could have air quality problems for lack of a better term and/or heat problems. Some caulking will outgas for a time until fully cured. How long after caulking did you have the seedlings in there? In a small cab, I would think this is a possible issue, especially if ventilation was inadequate.

Pics and more info, cab size, light size, how you are ventilating it, etc. That would help anyone here to comment. OK?

Toodles :rasta:

Those are 2 weeks old and have had nothing but water.
