Yellowing of inner leaves on new growth, early flowering

So this is something Ive come across many times since I started growing. It is the yellowing of the inner portion of leaves on newer growth during the first few days of flowering. I see it all the time and most the time it goes away after about the first week but I feel like its a cal mag issue. Here is a pic of what I am talking about.

This plant is grown in Moonshine Mix. I see it more on my indoors. Im not sure if its just from the stress of being jolted into flowering or maybe a little over watering as this soil mix can be touchy. It always shows up during the change over period, even in my outdoors but not as bad, which makes me wonder if its just normal. Anyone have some more info about the nutrients used during the change over specifically cal/mag. Ill be giving them a foilar spray of diluted compost tea with a teaspoon of azomite per gallon.

*bump* I also see this at the same time.
It's presentation on the new growth makes me think immobile element, so not mg.

The lack of necrosis or malformations leads me to rule out Ca or B.

The tips don't hook or canoe so I dont think its Zn or Cu.

It's just clorosis from the center of the new growth which leaves Fe or Mn.

But it seems to right itself soon enough so I'm not sure. It'd be great if someone had a definitive answer for us here

EDIT: plants starved of light, like things that sprout in a compost bin, often turn sickly yellow and loose their chlorofill. perhaps this is the plant adjusting from a 18-24hr light period to significant dark periods... just a thought. I'd love a solid answer though.

Thanks for explaining it better. It really does seem like it has to do with the abrupt switchover to long dark periods. It almost seems worse when the lights first come on.

I see this a lot too... I heard someone say it's temperature related but that doesn't really make sense to me as my flower and veg rooms are the same temp. I see it more in coco than rw for what it's worth.

I am seeing this on my outdoors this year also. I made the soil kinda by eye and feel so I have no idea what is in it nutrition wise. Going to try and add some micro nutrients over the next week with some top dressing and going to increase the ppm of cal mag to 150-200 are for the next week.

*bump*.. I'm having the same problem, 10 days into flower, and also seems to be worse when the lights first come on and seems better before they go off.
