Few things; when you put a plant in the soil; you want to fill it up to neat the top; but you want at least 1 in space from the rim of the pot so when you water it won't water over the pot.

The plants look like they are starting to lack potassium with some nitrogen issues happening on the lower part of the plant.....

how often are you feeding your plants and what dosage are you giving them with how much water?
Your pH is fine, so it just looks like it may be hungry. Where did you first start having this problem on the plant? Did it start at the top part and work it's way down?

I've had the problems for pretty much the whole of the last month but did nothing about it. I've been feeding about 1.5-2mls of biogrow per litre of water, and watering with plain water on average of once every three times.

Reckon I should up the dosage?

Thanks for the top re soil level

Where at on the plant did the problem start from? The top part or somewhere else on the plant... the problem mimics the zinc deficiency; but I never seen it affect a whole plant, since this has been going on for a whole month I need to know if you remember where at on the plant it started from?

Ya, you most defiantly need to feed more often; once every 7 days is how often you need to feed; use around 1 tsp per gallon of water; so that would be 5 ml per 4 liters of water for you.

Are you using tap water? RO? Bottled? distilled?

New growth was fine, but pretty soon after a shoot developed the problem would start

I'm using tap water with a ph of 7.6ish, perhaps higher, and I bring it down to 6.5 with vinegar or dry ph down

Thanks for all this

Vinegar is not a stable pH adjuster; it will work but it does not work for long and eventully the pH goes back to normal.......

That is why I am asking what your pH value is of your run off or if you have tested it.....

Your problem may be zinc as well as potassium...... this is why I was asking where the problem started.....
