Yellowing leaves, two weeks left! (pics)

Oky as the title says my leaves at the bottom of the plant have been yellowing of late and i'm just wondering wheter this should really be happening seeming as i'm still feeding them nutes. I know that some leaves yellow, especially the bottom leaves towards theend of flowering but i just want to make sure that its not anything else.

I'm feeding them Bio-Bloom, Top max, and avery small bit of bio-grow (to make sure they have a bit of nitrogen) so it shouldn't be a deficiency.

What do ye think? Here are some photos

Thats fine with only two weeks left, the longer you stay with a high N fert during the flowering stretch, the longer your leaves are going to stay green.I use straight grow big the first 2-3 weeks,a bloom fert isnt necessary during the stretch, only when actually start to make flowers.I do give a bloom fert right before taking cuttings and going 12/12 because the cuttings lack P

It looks like Nitrogen deficiency to me but if your going to harvest in 2 weeks its not a problem at all. Its actually a good thing, you can even stop giving it nitrogen now because the plant dosnt need it, theres plenty still stored in those leaves for 14 days i think.

Actually, Can't really tell in the pics but looks to me like it might actually be a little more than 2 weeks, but the advice still stands. You want to time the harvest to coincide with the total yellowing of the leaves if possible. If you harvest a dark green plant your going to have problems in the flavor department no matter how much you flush.

Personally I let all the leaves yellow up before I chop.

Heres a good post with pics to help diagnose plant problems. http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688

Also theres a subforum for plant problems to post in, in the future. http://www.icmag.com/ic/forumdisplay.php?f=83

I'm hoping its just ntrogen def. Those buds on the pics are immature buds, they don't get much light. I'm estimating 2 more weeks for one of the plants maybe three for the other. Some of the pistils have turned amber and trichs are covering the buds(still clear at the though) Heres hoping for a harvest in 2 wks :D

I think you are going to be just fine. Hell mine is yellowing a lot more than that and it's doing great. I think us first timers tend to freak out instead of just letting nature run it's course.

Ya i know what you mean when i started the grow, everything used to freak me out. After vegging for two months and seeing my plant go through and come out of many problems i've relaxed a lot. Over the next few weeks I will probably start to worry a bit again but i'm just going to let things play out and hope for the best.:yummy:

I've another question, seeming as i'm 2 weeks away from harvesting, hopefully anyway, can i start cutting back the light and upping the darkness? Will this have any negative effect?

I want to trickt the plant into thinking winter is coming so it better pack on the bud and trichs cos it life is almost over!

It sure wouldnt have a positive effect,I wouldnt mess with 12/12 much especially if thats what the photoperiod has been.Thats what I think, give it a try though. The onlt time I've seen screwing with a photoperiod have a positive effect is if you're trying to sex a plant by cutting, putting it under 14 dark 10 light will usually make the clone show sex a couple days sooner than under 12/12,but I wouldnt mess with an already flowering plants photoperiod like that

id stay on 12/12 unless you're in a time crunch, giving more darkness will speed ripening, but the last two to three weeks is really when you want to blast them with light (when they pack on most of their weight) Cutting the light cycle will cause adverse reactions to your yield and potentcy (from what I have read)

Also from the looks of your pics, that or those plant(s) could easily go 3-4 more weeks, truse me it's worth the wait.

If you realy only have two weeks left you should STOP FEEDING - Time to flush - You are using BIO BIZZ - they recommend the last 10 days on plain water - I use Bio BIZZ and always always go 14 just to be sure

and YES I agree with Space Ghost stay on 12/12

You are correct to be use Bio Grow - this should be used at 1ml/liter throughout the grow including the bloom stage (apart from the last 10-14 days of course!)

Personaly I would not mix anything else with a canabis specific feed such as bio Bizz - just follow the manufactures feeding schedule for best results - good luck

In soil grows its much better to decrease ferts towards the end of flowering and just forget about the flush,it never did anything for me.We're growing in soil, flushing is for hydro growers IMO.Ideally, you'd want to decrease ferts not feeding at all the last 7-14 days depending on strain, size of container etc.I've never tasted nitrogen in a soil grow,I have in unflushed hydro grows though.Decreasing the ferts towards the end will have a more positive effect on soil grows than just stopping a couple weeks before harvest and flushing all the feed out of the soil. Its like cutting back on co2(environmental nutes),its a myth and a goofy idea someone came up with lol.Decreases taste and smell?Please...Same with soil flushing as far as I'm concerned, note however I only use PBP and.or fox farm and LK,no heavy chemical nutes so I cant speak from experience on that.I can with organic/semi-organic nutes
