Yellowing from bottom N-deficiency?

Howdy folks,

my plants in veg exhibit yellowing on lower growth (top looks healthy) across the board.
Starts at the tip usually, sometimes edges of lower growth leafs.

Am I correct to diagnose N deficiency?

I am in organic soil. I assume that my blood meal is the cause because it is in pellet form why everything else is in meal/powder form. So I thought my plants don't get enough N from the blood meal pellets?

How do I remedy this situation?
Can I top dress with some EWC and water as usual?

I do not have a "compost tea maker" but could build one I suppose. Still top dressing would be nicer.

Don't have pics at the moment but think they are not necessary for this?

Thanks in advance for your help/feedback!

Top dressing with worm castings is a great way to feed a little nitrogen while your blood meal is breaking down.

if yellowing is happening and vein areas stay green, like you hve stripey leaves yellowing from bottom of plants moving up it's probably mag deficiency
lil epsom salts and fulvic acid will rectify a mag def....

Not really stripy.

Really just the tip and sometimes a little on the edges.
The Tip has browned slightly on some in the meantime.

But I do feel that my soil mix was a little too low on the epsom salts as well.

In the last round during flower I started to mix in some epsom salt into my water but it was late in flower already so I am unsure if that had any effect.

So from my understanding my options are to either:
A) Top dress with a little EWC and epsom salt and then water as usual
B) make a "slurry" i.e. add epsom salt and some EWC to my water and water as usual

Alright, will try and let you guys know if it helped.

Thanks!

pics of your leaves would help

i'd go with B

if you can get some fulvic acid to put in that slury

Well I made a EWC/epsom salt slurry and fed it to them.

Let's see how they react, otherwise I maybe snap some pics.

Overall I was surprised when I went to water them with the slurry.
It seems like the yellowing stayed at the first node. The rest of the plants looks good with a few yellow tips as the exception.

Kind of looks like the plant is "lollypopping" itself, loosing the bottom growth.

Anyway, I hope the EWC/epsom salt slurry will fix the yellowing which would mean that I need to adjust my ratios for my soilmix a bit which is alright since I need to mix a fresh batch for flower anyway.

Seems like the slurry did the trick.

So I likely just need a bit added epsom salt and EWC in my soil mix.

At least the plants look healthy, just the bottom growth is still yellowing out and falling off but if I remember correctly, I read that fixing an N deficiency usually has the plant bounce back very fast, yet the old affected growth does not revert.

The plants do look a bit funny though. Basically no growth at the bottom and then a node or two up it starts and the top is wider than the bottom.

Whatever, the leafs look good and I assume for now that I fixed the issue with your help.

Thanks all.
