Yellowing during flower

C

crestgrowing

So I'm running 4 plants under one 600W light and two of the plants have been getting regular feedings of nutrients the third has been a mix of close to no nutrients it's whole life only feeding it every once in awhile. Those are all fine but the fourth has been our control and hasn't gotten any nutrients except recently to try to fix the discoloration that i'm currently posting about. The plant has the biggest buds of all the plants but the leaves for some reason are a significant shade lighter than all the others. It's almost yellow I would say but it's performing much better than the others so I'm at a loss at what to do. I thought it was a nitrogen deficiency so I gave it some of the Veg nutes but that didn't do much, tried giving it cal mag as well and both times they seemed to be a bit darker but no significant results yet. Any ideas on what to do? should i leave it alone? give it even more nutes? even though this is the control and I don't want to give it anything it's to a point where it obviously needs something. it's the fourth week in and all that the plant has been getting is water with molasses and calmag. it's also gotten Ayzos through veg and it's in a 50/50 mix of promix and happy frog.

Also, this is my first grow so sorry if i'm missing something completely obvious. It looks a bit more yellow than this, i wouldn't normally be worried but the fact that the other ones look much deeper green makes me think that it's not normal for this strain (blue dream)

g'day Mate!

probably best to do nothing to this plant instead of trying this/trying that. amazing that it has grown so well without added nutrients ... but my bet is that there is sufficient nutrients in that soil mix you mention and that the yellowing is due to another factor like pH. also the coloring (and pH if it is 'out') may be the result of improperly mixed soil ingredients ... particularly when you blend different manufactured soils. it is not good to blend manufactured soils

anyway, pH kits are cheap ... easy to use ... so you can quickly find out if pH is the problem.

also throw away the cal-mag and learn about much cheaper dolomite lime ... how it contains both Ca and Mag ... how you can alter pH with it, restore nutrient balance. best leave cal/mag for hydro growers.

you can also do yr growing WITHOUT ADDING ANYTHING. for example please look here: www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=312805

these are great plants for a first grow. even tho one is yellow you have done a good job! yr next grow will be better!

cheers from the land of Oz!
