Ive searched through several threads including Stitches sick plant thread .I haven't found any photos that look like my problem .The plant starts out green then gradually gets tiny yellow spots ,soon almost all the leaves are yellow and spotted ,can anyone venture any guesses? Im growing in soil usiing Biobizz chemical and Topmaxx organic fertilizers. This is happening on alot of my plants.

Well it looks like toxic salt buildup. The reason why i came to my conclusion is the purple colored stem and the 3 leaf fan leaf looks stressed. It looks like the nutrients are being locked out maybe by PH, heat stress, high nute ec, or poor ventilation. There are also many other things that could cause this. I would flush with a leaching solution like clearex.

Hello

Sorry to be rude sounding but we have all typed spider mite stuff so many times we are gettin tired..check my thread or others who have repplied to this one.

Orthene, Floramite, HSNPS IF THEY ARE NOT IN YOUR ROOM OR SOMETHING.

Those things ARE BAD FOR YOU!!!

Einstein Oil every third day (apply skip 2 days apply again) for 2-3 weeks. Concentrate on soaking the bottoms of the leaves. No ... it won't hurt you or your plants.

Here's the product i picked up from home depot ..It was outside in the orchid section ,not inside with the other regular pest treatments

It treats 3 different symptoms,,,itsd basically a neem oil spray ..but hey for 5 bucks that sounds fair if it works .Also got the hot shot vapor pest strip ..

Hi

I am not too keen on neem these days..it did squat for the Santa Cruz Super Mite we have,,

so if worse comes to worse, and with spider mites it will believe me..

I have something for you ..PM me.

Neem is great but has very little knock down power and it needs to be sprayed weekly. I always use it with pyrethrin if i have an infestation as it has much better knock down. Never had to go the Avid route or any other nuclear pesticide.

Dont fok around with the Borg,

Azatrol, Floramite, with a spreader, every 3 days for 2 weeks cycle between both.. If you cant get Flora , then Azatrol works damn well..

just what ive seen work over and over..

Avid if you dont give a fok .. but i never use it.. :spank:

Well if you're only neeming weekly I can see why the knock down power is limited and needs a boost. I'm Maintaining that Einstein Oil every third day for 2-3 weeks will get rid of the mites. That's on par with their breeding cycle. Neem doesn't kill eggs but it does prevent the mites from laying more and it kills the adults dead.

Safer brand insecticide

Safer brand insecticide

I have had good results from the "Safer" brand organic bug spray.
I have also had good luck with "Organocide", the stuff smells like fish, but it worked great for me.

The most important method is preventative maintenance. Always inspect your leaf undersides, I do everyday. If you can catch those bastards before they multiply too much, your job is much easier. There comes a point where it's too late and you're better off scrapping the whole grow and starting over again after a deep cleaning.

You have to understand that spidermites are EVERYWHERE! You can track them in on your shoes, you can unknowingly bring them from Home Depot's nursery to your grow room, hell outside they can even float in on a breeze.
