Yellow spots along veins PLEASE HELP

pheed

Member
Hi everyone! I keep getting the same problem with every single plant I grow. About halfway through flower the leaves start developing yellow spots along the veins which eventually get bigger until all my fan leaves die.

What is going on? This happens regardless of what I feed the plants. Can someone diagnose this? My Marijuana Garden Saver book doesn't have a single image that resembles my problem. Help appreciated!!

You provide very little info. Are you growing in soil? Coco? Organic?

If I had to take a guess now, my money is on a lockout or pH issue.

A pic of the whole plant won't help because it looks fine from far away.

I'm growing in FFOF and using small amounts of Earth Juice nutes in r/o water.

Seems a bit too high on the nitrogen.
The burns might be from a fertilizer gone bad?

What tent are you using?

The only nitrogen the plants have gotten is what's already in the FFOF. I only fed them P K and cal mag.

The tent is a Secret Jardin 4x4.

Not certain but too much P & K adding can really hurt that Mag uptake and lock it out some. I had a puzzling problem recently with one strain. Was doing probably similar to you, had some similar leave issues. Realized when thinking heavy on it that I had not given
proper N. A good dose of N heavy veg ferts and huge improvement occurred. Has never been a problem until fairly recently, giving plenty of N never used to be a problem lol.
Maybe a healthy N dose followed up next watering by Epsom salt ( 1 tsp per gallon of H2O ) watering.

Are you sure there really is actually a problem? Yellowing in flower is normal, some strains do it more than others. Perhaps yours start a bit early because your soil is running out. Feed a little N during veg and stretch and they should stay green a couple of weeks more.

been doing this for years....i used to get that from time to time, did tons or research, but could never find an exact answer...in my case, i found that it came from overfeeding(too much n locking out cal or mag)...she could just be a very light feeder....prob nothing to get to stressed out over, but def keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't progress

Over the last 2 weeks the problem has only gotten worse. Lots of yellowing on the older leaves and brown spots. This happens to all my strains, regardless. Could it really be lockout? I've been feeding nothing but r/o water and calmag since this problem started. Somebody please help me save these plants...

could be a ph prob....too much k can lock out cal too, but if uve only been giving cal mag, i doubt its an over fert prob(it may not even be cal)... i haven't had this prob in a while, but the exact thing would happen to me with one particular stain (others would have the brown spots pop up now and then, but didn't progress the the yellowing), i don't do that strain anymore because it always gave me probs, while everything else would be perfectly healthy...wish i could tell you more

Your TDS is high. I bet your pushin 1500ppm

I get this when tplanting into hot preplant incorporate nutes.

Leaves can do "deficiency" looking stuff under excess. Watering RO is probably the right move. You need to check the runoff and post the nute ratios youve been puttin on.

Could be excess Ca by the sound of your schedule.
