here is the rundown on the grow first.

soil foxfarms oc and lw mixed with pearlite
nutes root juice to start and bio grow now
21 days old in veg still from seed
temps 65 light off and 74 light on
600w mh
rh has been real low like 30%
using ro water from a waterstore.

this just started happening the last couple of days. first getting droopy then turning yellow with brown spots. what do you guys think. this is my first indoor grow and its proving harder than i thought. TIA :joint: :joint: ftg

Whats your soil ph?
What ph do you water/feed with?
There may be a mag def but Im not sure on that.

They do look overwatered BTW.

i had a similar problem before with the brown spots. turns out i was overfeeding. and since you're plants are still really young, that MAY be the case.

and by the looks of the leaves, you may be overwatering a bit too.

i aint no guru, just my .02 i can add from personal experience. the experts should be in here soon, just sit tight

i am not sure what my ph is or what the ph of the nute solution is. i know it looks like overwatering but i water like only when they are dry dry. i transplanted them today to bigger containers. i took these pics right before i did. the soil was dry all the way threw. i have been using 1-2 ml per liter to water with. i think i may have given ferts twice now. you guys may be right it could be overwatering. idk. thanks for your replies. how do you correct a mag def.?

also those pics are of one plant i have three going in the same stage. this is the only droppy looking one out of the three and i treat them the same. i have noticed this discoloring starting to happen to lower leaves on the other two.

it could be a Mag deficiency? You are using RO so there is no cal or mag in your water.

Botanicare cal-mag will take care of any calcium or mag deficencies.

Get a PH meter it is the most important tool for any grow. Keep your PH between 6.0-6.5. This will help your plants use all the nutes you feed them.

CAL-MAG PLUS to the rescue. But first you need to check ph and find out if it is a lock out. Go on ebay get a ph meter.

ok i just checked the soil ph. did i do it right i tested the the water from the the dish under the pot. it was high 7.3 for two and 7.6 . how do i lower the ph in soil and is that ph high enough to be cuasing a lock out?

I agree with this. Fix your ph then back off on the feeding......this would be my advise.

If the PH in your water is 6.0 just flush your plants and it should balance your PH.

You can get PH down at any hydro store. You will probably need PH up in the future, because nutes will drive your PH way down.

I use Pro-tekt by Dyna grow for my PH up. It not only balances my PH up but it is Potassium silicate. It helps strengthen stems, helps prevent heat and disease stress.

Well, if ya wanted to do this on the real cheap...........just add a few drops of lemon or lime juice to your watering can of distilled water for a while and see if your plants recover. The affected leaves probably won't recover but, other growth won't start being buggered up. When you start seeing your ph drop into the 6.2 - 6.8 range then stop & just give plain water.
Good luck!!
