YELLOW LEAVES HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi well im gonna start off by saying hi to everyone. Im new to this forum and so far im finding it very helpful. Well anyway i have a week old baby white widow from femaleseeds.nl and im noticing a yellowish on one of the leaves. The yellow is mainly on the one leaf but there is spots of yellow on the tips of some of there other leaves. im using one cfl right now and i dont think its the light because i put my hand under the light and its not really hot at all. The other only thing i think it could be is nutrient burn from the soil. The soil im using is fox farms ocean forest. I havent added any nutes so i know its not from over fertilizing. Ive heard that fox farms ocean forest soil is so potent in nutes that you really dont have to add ferts untill your ready to flower is this tru? Somebody please help!!!!!!

Well, it could be a few things. Do you have a fan blowing on that little guy 24/7?

Sometimes fans can cause little burns like that on the leaves. Its happen to me a number of occasions. Its nothing real serious and it never gets much worse then what you have pictured there.

If you haven't gave them nutes, and your not overwatering them, and your using pretty decent soil. I don't know what else it could be. The soil may have a deficiency of some sort. That is very possible.. Hard to say for sure..

I like supersoil myself.. ph balanced, pest free, lots of wood chunks for proper aeration.. A lot of these thick ultra soils get very compressed over time and just clamp down on the roots.. I just don't care for the effects of it personally..

im using ff ocean forest alot of people say that when using this soil u dont have to fert untill your ready to flower. is this tru? and do you think thats why the leaves are yellow because the soil is to strong with ferts?

if it was nut burn it will be the tips. Since it on the outer edge that definetly ph burn. Check your ph.

Plant is preety dark... that means there is plenty of nutes in the soil.. maybe its too strong. Dont worry for now...

I did burned my plants just a little a couple of times.. . after few days, they just exploded :D

Take care!

Roll that shit,
I don't think your fans are to blame but just to be on the safe side, have your fans sucking air across your plants and not blowing.

My new rule with fans is, if your plant is too young to be given nutes yet, it is too young to handle wind.
Wind does more harm than good to a young plant.

But like I said, I don't think that is the real reason. Since you haven't added any nutes yet, I doubt it is nute burn although that is kinda what it looks like.
Must be that your ph is wrong.

Do you have a ph meter and some ph up and down solution?

too early for all those deficiencies. probably overwatering, ph or both. Soil looks pretty dense, so you could have some muck- how's your drainage?
